Overall the Leafs played a really strong game. But Rielly allowing himself to get beat clean like that? In game 7 OT? That’s inexcusable. Just brutal.

Reilly is the Leafs most competent defenceman, he can't do it all himself.

Wow, was Morgan Riley ever lazy on that winning Boston Goal.    Barely got into gear and slower than mollases.  He didn't even look interested in trying -more like looking forward to getting up to the cottage for the start of summer.  He looks like a cow ready to go out to pasture - like most of the overpaid-overhyped disfunctional Laffs team that the CBC HNIC Toronna propoganda crew prop up as the second coming of Christ and the Apostles.

Not even an hour after the game ended, Nick Kypreos was already trading Marner and exploring ways to get rid of Tavares. The Toronto media will have nothing to do all off season but carve the Leafs into tiny, indigestible little pieces. I don't know why anybody would choose to play there. Living in toxic fishbowl.

That play seemed like the epitome of:

”We know where this is headed, so just put us out of our misery.”

And Rielly is signed for 6 more years at $7.5M with a NMC… Toronto is screwed.

Would Toronto's 1st round picks in 2024, and 2026 be enough to move them both? Because only maybe San Jose or Chicago would take Tavares. Marner might get some interest. But his middling playoff performances are pretty big red flags.

Cya Leafs.

It is tradition for maple leafs to fall in the spring in Toronto.

This marks "The Official Start of Summer in Ontario" every year.

Time to pack up the van & kids and head up to Wasaga beach.

It's hard when you hate both teamsnin a series,  but ya gotta the silver lining... one of them has to lose.

Now it's d-bag series part 2 with Florida and the Bruins

Even for Leafs fans though, I'd want an impartial and honest assessment, not a guy who is reacting like an obsessed fan

Go ask any Leafs fan they went into this series with zero optimism and were pleasantly surprised by their determination

Hrudey is out to lunch! Like Samsonov should go after hat puck in the corner. He would have been dead in his tracks

Hrudy doesn't make any sense half the time and should be sent to an old age home with "Yes man" Maclean.   You have to be from Toronna to tolerate those two.

I hope their "Groundhog day" (waking up every post-season losing to the Bruins) never ends.

Never forgotten how their fanbase (ok not all but a good chunk of them) were openly cheering for the Bruins in 2011 against us.  Not just their fanbase but Eastern media as well.

Habfans had our back (mainly because there's *NO WAY* they would *EVER* cheer for the Bruins 🤣).

If you can find the right deal trade marner reload and let Tavares walk in a year.  Build around Matthew's and Nylander.

Too bad for him, he was one of the few bright spots for the Leafs this series, but he's been their best playoff forward for a while now

Of all the Laff players, you'd think this creampuff would be one of those that disappear in the post-season.  But nope.  He actually showed up when it counted.  Has more balls than Marner & Matthews.
