Can't tune in this game. Are leafs just unlucky or Boston continue to be their kryptonite?

Actually I'd say they are lucky it's only 4-0, Bruins have hit 4 posts on top of the 4 goals they've scored.

Leafs have had maybe 2 good chances, and Matthews pinged it off the iron.

Not unlucky, just intimidated and have AHL trash on their blueline and between the pipes.  Any actual NHL quality team would be steamrolling the Leafs.

The Leaf players of today lack the heart of the great Leafs of the 60’s. Keon would be embarrassed by these guys.

I know its the Boston Gaw-dens and your the visiting team but ffs, even the Leafs have to be prepared to play a different style once the post season starts.

I am praying the Canucks come out knowing how to prepare for that hard edged but disciplined playoff style, before Nashville does.

It's clearly the Boston flu.  The guy is scared of the puck, nevermind physical play in the playoffs.

He’s arguably their best playoff player 40 pts in 50 games is hardly a scared to play in the playoffs performance..

The leafs need to rebuild their D-core and they need a goalie. They came out of their rebuild too quickly.

The proper way to rebuild has always been from the goalie and defense out.

You take BPA if you have a top pick which is usually a forward, but your consensus targets need to start from the back out and they are sooooooo top heavy.

This core won't win shit

Yet he still refuses to go to the dirty areas, backcheck, and there's video evidence of him being scared of the puck.  He's shown zero sign over the course of his career that he cares about winning whatsoever, and his laziness is not counteracted by the cherrypicking.  Just because Toronto has a bunch of other players who aren't willing to do what it takes doesn't make Nylander's cowardice acceptable on an actual NHL team.

As much as I hate them, a deep leafs run is good for the league. It would literally raise the salary cap.
