I took my son to Vegas for his 21st birthday. He's a decent poker player and wanted to play in a tournament so I paid his $60 entry fee and watched. He got knocked out in a little under 2 hours but I spent $40 on beer which would have been free if I was playing so the next day I entered along with him, I'm no slouch but I get bored to easy, but my main goal was the free beer. Ended up winning the tournament just over $1,000.

 

We played 4 more tournament, he never made final table, I got a second and 2 thirds and made $2500 in total so we rented a Ferrari so he could look cool cruising the strip but he managed to screw that up as well but that's a story for another day.

They have a great taproom/resteraunt at the brewery too. The menu has some pub favourites, but some more unique stuff too. I had Bao and rice pudding last time I went, it was excellent.

The leafs remind me of the capitals before they won their cup in that they just don't play a playoff brand of hockey.  It's too late to change this year but they need to play good defense all year.
