I second that

When we die, we still have to submit our last tax return.

Funny thing is any money I might owe at the time of my death has already been spent a decade ago by our government.

They get seriously blinded by their forwards.  They must honestly think defence and goaltending isn't as important or something.  They got pummelled on the scoreboard last game because their defence and goaltending sucks.  Have no idea how they think they're gonna overcome that deficiency against the Bruins.

I honestly wonder if anyone besides Toronto fans watch TSN!?!?..I've never seen so much ass kissing for 1 particular team that hasn't proven shit vs Boston yet are the faves. What the actual fuck!

Yah- how bizarre that a tv network, that gets revenue from showing adds to as many people as possible; would slant coverage to appeal to the largest english speaking market in the country.

truly weird.🤔

There's one thing to be slightly biased and one thing to be completely delusional! I think fans of other Canadian teams would probably tune in more which would help their ad revenue if the idiots that work there didn't kiss so much Leaf ass, No?

the network has people paid big money to figure this stuff out.

If there was a better way for them to make money, they'd be doing it.

I think these guys just don't want to get flamed by Leafs fans in their own city.  That's why a guy like Spector (who is from Edmonton and nonetheless hated by Oilers fans/players) gives no shits.

Make no mistake - all of the guys who picked Toronto have indeed been talking about these issues all season long.  You don't think they wrote about defence before and after John Klingberg?  You don't think they wrote about Samsonov getting waived for being hot garbage during the first half?  You don't think they wrote about the big forwards struggling in the playoffs?  I think deep down they know the team is fucked, but better to be wrong than to have eggs pelted at them when they walk down Bay Street.

@HKSR I also think most Leafs fans realize this roster is not one that'll win them a cup.  The overall optimism of the fans is WAY down compared to previous years.

Like, even a BarDown guy like Corwin (a major Leafs homer)... just listen to him talk about his team.  It's not glowing praise.  I'll link it with the timestamp:

Their employer also is a part owner of the Leafs. With all the layoffs that have happened at both major sports networks, I'm sure job security is a major motivator for the lack of professionalism that we're seeing.

Gonna hand it to their fans that were at the outside viewing party though.  Even when they were down 4-1, they were still having a good time lol

We don't talk about outdoor viewing parties in this city.

We couldn't beat the bruins in a best of seven either, when it really counted.

We couldn't even score a goal in the last game.

I am hoping if we make it to the finals the bruins are already eliminated, I'm not sure we could win against them.

For this reason I will root for any team that play's against them.
