For the 1994 playoff run, I had the radio on at the same time as the tv and just muted the tv. That way I was listening to Robson and Larscheid call the game. It was unreal. Especially game 7 against Calgary. 
 

The eventual problem with that is that the radio was delayed by a couple of seconds, so it threw everything off. 
 

But during those times my go to was the radio and then listening to Dan Russell.

And I also agree, no team is going to give up a high-end defenseman or goalie for Marner. The Leafs wouldn't get what they would want for him, especially at his caphit for next year.

 

I think the Leafs are just gonna be this team for one more year, and then will have to try and build through free agency since they won't be able to trade either player at the TDL.

They probably let Tavares walk. They might be smart to let Marner walk too. That would free up $22 million in cap space to target a goalie and some dmen. And a couple forwards too. 
 

The Canucks were able to get Joshua, Blueger, Soucy, Cole, Myers, Suter, Mikheyev all through free agency. As well as Kuzmenko. All those guys together were just over $23 million. 
 

Tavares will be old and Marner will want a 13x8 deal. It’s going to be interesting what they do over the next two years.

Ideally, they knock each other out in the first round!  I don't want to see either of them past the second round so as long as that happens, I am OK.

I made a mistake. I said "Laffs are done as dinner" after the second Bruins goal. 

I still hope Laffs will go out this round and Bruins- next.
