Nashville may be undergunned on their roster but the one big advantage they do have is that they have a lot of playoff proven veterans that exceeds our team's experience.

Canucks going to have to stay composed, Nashville's special teams are strong and they have shown they can really strike quick. Im hopeful for a good series, but Nashville won't go down without a fight. They also acquired a lot of speed over the TDL and have a very physical team. Cole Smith, Mike McCarron, Mark Jankowski up front are punishing and have Luke Schenn and Jeremy Lauzon (who just set the NHL hit record in a seaosn with 383). I can see their physicality wear some of our more skilled players down.

Wonder if Gary is going to want to call it quits?

5 of the 8 Canadian teams are in the playoffs.

His beloved Arizona experiment has met with failure.

End the season with a win guys. And don't get hurt!

Trotz based teams are always so well coached and have tight defensive systems - JT Huggy and others will probably have constant checkers on them - I think another key will be our secondary scoring especially from the 3rd-4th lines.  Hopefully Laffy, PDG, Podz can chip in a few goals in this series which will help immensely.  Should help them also if there is more 5-5 play.

The wild card will be Petey though - somewhat quiet second half of the year - he can be dominant at times but needs to use everyone around him - possibly do a few different things.  Hopefully he comes on in this series.

Great to have playoff hockey return here - just do their best and see where this goes.  GCG

These two teams should quietly have reps meet, agreeing to a no-hitter. They both have serious biz starting next week.

A gentle 2-2 affair, 'til about mid-way into the 3rd p. Then pick up the pace a tad, to see who gets the final bounce. Very little at stake.

Sure would like to see Van & Wpg meet up in the 3rd rd though. That'd be perfect. I respect this opponent. They're well-balanced.
