Could making the playoffs have something to do with him taking a back seat to Miller.

Or does Miller get more favourable matchups because teams zero in on shutting down Petey?

Sorry "Snorlax" is a term of endearment?

It’s a comment about his personality.
Miller is a heart and soul guy.  Lots of emotion and energy.
Petey, is none of those things.
He is a quiet reserved guy.

Question: why do all the night time Vancouver skyline cameras look like they’re from the 90s? How have we not updated these yet??

Because it smells like teen spirit?

Most Canuck period ever, 2 ga on like 3 shots while we miss open nets & hit posts.

Still think we can comeback but need more on net.

Get your section fired up for the rest of the third, Lets Go!!!

Whoooo!

Meanwhile Tocchet is doing nothing with the lines.

You'd think he'd try to juggle things if they are not working... BUT NO.

The problem is we are outplaying Nashville. The score doesn't reflect the pressure or the chances. Couple bad bounces. Peteys bad turnover and missing a wide open net.

There's nothing wrong with how the team is playing this game. Just not getting any puck luck.

Except the PP, this has needed fixing for a while

Probably less likely to get scored on that way

Lol, if we are putting the pressure on like that in their zone, why not?
we all know Rick Tocchet likes to gamble.

Biggest issue is that beyond Boeser, Miller, and the usual Petey we don’t have much else in the top 6 that is consistent. We all knew this at the deadline. Hell management knew it. They just didn’t have the assets or money to make things happen. The teamis still short not one but two top 6 forwards whereas Vegas has players added to the LITR and then miraculously they are better when the playoffs arrive. They have about 10 top 6 forwards.

Miller faces the opposing teams top line every game so no

Top offensive line, not top defensive line.  A teams best offensive players are very rarely their top defensive players.......quite the opposite
