I’d give Joshua or Garland the opportunity to play with Miller and Boeser instead. At least then, there’s the possibility that something actually might happen. 1

The puck is dead on the ice, Pred crashes goalie, and it goes in off goalie’s momentum backwards. How is that a good goal? If blueger wasn't there it would have been overturned but the fact he was there would give the refs ample excuse to say Blueger caused the Pred player to fall and push Silvos and the puck in. Also think we would beem 2 man short if we lose that one as they scored on the pp. Edited May 1 by 24K
OldFaithfulcap
Lindholm is not a good fit for josh and garly. They should move him to center pettey and hogs and move mik to 4th. Blueger will be a better fit.

Its easy to criticize Tocchet in hindsight, but he had faith we’d be able to score a second goal. Our top guys were no-shows offensively tonight. Pettersson is going to get A TON of blame Coaches are supposed to coach and give their players a chance to win. Coaches have been coasting and making excuses as much as 40. 2
hockeyville88
Hughes looked good today. Less injured. I’d still play Arty in game 6. 1
CanuckDownUnder
The intensity of the first is what they need to build on - a few more shots might have led to a goal or two and a very different game. That has to be a take away
wesley
They only played one good period. Lucky to come out 2nd unscathed. What happened after 1-0 was not pretty.
Popular Post Ribs
They need to score more, but not challenging that goal was a massive mistake. Even if it's 50/50 you need to have confidence in your PK. 2 1 1 1 3

Draw in Podz for some energy on the 4th line too.

Yeah, and Nashville had how many more PPs? Twice as many. Including the one that led to them tying the game, when Evangelista turned into the hit? Shots were 22-20... barely outshot. Anyhow, being outshot doesn't bother me. It was a close game, and contrary to the other games in the series, we had a number of high percentage chances. Not much went our way today.
Popular Post -Buzzsaw-
Its really simple. Tocchet has to realize his offensive lines aren't working and put together something different that does work. 20 shots is not enough. Whether that means putting the Lotto line back together or putting Lindholm on Pettersson's line, or on Miller's line, or what, but he needs to try something different. I watched Suter and Mikheyev squander multiple gold plated scoring chances... we need finishers playing with Miller and Pettersson's lines. 3 1 1
coolboarder
Why are our superstars a hand of stone all of the sudden? Free up the squeezed stick and let it flow. We just don't adjust to them and play the same stupid game and fell for their traps. The Pred made some adjustments to their PK and it showed. We just try too hard with pretty passes again that just won't work at all. If there is nothing with any open man, just shoot and hope for a dirty goals. Or even if they blocked shots, just shoot some more or find some open man after any blocked shot rebounds.
