DrJockitch
Not surprising given everything that has happened with him and his wife this year. Genuinely seems like a good guy and hope for a long healthy retirement.
6of1_halfdozenofother
He had a good run. Too bad he couldn't help push us over the top in 2011. With a hockey mind like his though, I wonder if he wouldn't mind being a part-time/on-call scout for a team (amateur or pro) for whatever locale he and his wife decide to settle down in.
Bob Long
Heck of a run. Good for him to know when to hang it up.

Shift-4
Looks so good for his age. Looks good for someone 15 years younger even.

Snoop Hogg
I wonder who will replace him. Bruce Boudreau?
Coconuts
He had a good run, good on him for stepping aside sooner than later if that was his intention, gives the Jets a chance to find a replacement sooner than later. Wonder who it'll be.

DeNiro
If he’s interested in managing the Canucks should bring him back on board.
hockeyville88
sounds like a genuinely good person and someone who had a big impact on a lot of people in hockey. The sport of hockey is shaped around people like Rick, and I wish him and his family all the best 1
Dr. Crossbar
Great guy who worked hard. Growing up, his dad owned a popular sports store at the local mall. Used to see Rick in there every now and again. Always respected as a Maritimer making it in the NHL and respected even more for finding his way as a coach. A great career! Well done!
