Petey is one of many who brought their A game tonight.  That's all it takes.  Imagine, things can get even better when Demko is ready.  Silovs has been great in the mean time.  Next years goalie duo seems to be a lock.

What I saw tonight was a far better balanced set of lines and a better team.

 

They were generating shots, playing in the Edmonton D-Zone and pressuring.

 

The shots were 35-23... the opposite of what we have been seeing in the previous 4 games.

 

I think putting Pettersson with Lindholm was a big success... no, that line didn't get any goals, but they did dominate the opposition in possession and had a lot of good scoring chances.

 

And I think we may have found the 4th line...  Podkolzin, Aman and Di Giuseppe were excellent and completely outplayed their opponents.  Aman also has been a big part of the PK turnaround.

 

I think they have to go with the same lineup for next game.

What I forgot to mention, was that JT Miller was a monster.

 

Defensively he did everything he could be expected to do to handle McDavid.

 

Offensively of course, he put in the winner.

Hits were 42-20 in our favour.  FO was ours too.  Loved the improved PK.
