I am shocked that we haven’t been able to come out in one of the first periods and look dominant. Are the oilers actually that much better than us? We should be able to raise our game and take charge and put our will on them. It just hasn’t happened.

NHL has always been plagued by inconsistent officiating. I suspect speed of the game has something to do with it, but maybe just poor development and not holding individuals accountable enough.

PK is looking better.  The call on Cole was weak, but the make up call was equivalent.  We're spending a decent amount of time in the offensive zone 5 on 5.  No dumb penalties, play smart, make room for each other and get some quality shots on goal.
