McDavid and Draisaitl looked tired out there late in the third. Still dangerous, but more manageable for defenders. We are wearing them down. Big game by everyone tonight. Miller dominated the faceoffs tonight and had some good moments, none bigger than the last. Petey looked dangerous tonight, you could feel that something was coming most times he had the puck. No goals but a great assist being in the right place to deflect a puck. I hope he knows this was his best game of these playoffs and can build on that in game 6. PDG, what a crazy time for him. Big goal tonight and he was flying and forechecking like a man possessed. Every other forward was good tonight too, everyone did their jobs and made things difficult for Edmonton. Lindholm was once again a reliable 2way force out there. Garland, Joshua, Bleuger were physical and applied some good pressure. Hoglander was feisty tonight. Aman had good jump. The defense was huge and dominating tonight. Zad was great, big hits and good all around play. Hughes looked quicker tonight, faster decisions and execution in our end and was up to his usual tricks in the ozone, solid game for huggy. Meyers was solid tonight, he was physical and took care of his business. Soucy with some crazy highs and lows but an overall good game, too bad he slipped on the Edmonton goal, but he did score an exciting goal and played well in our end. Hronek was pretty good too. He made better decisions and was decent in our end, he doesn't need to be great, just consistent and he was tonight. Cole played well, he has had some rough moments in this series, but he showed why he is on this team. Experienced and good poise. Hasn't let the negativity rattle him. Silovs was big tonight. Not as many saves as Pickard, but he played just as well. Didn't let Edmonton steal it late in the game and shut down their best chances while we were surging. The legend continues. Im really hoping for a game 6 win to end the series, but I wont be shocked if this becomes a one game series at home.
