There's a reason I'm a little hostile today. Went out with my flags on the car (7) and had a few Oiler displaced hillbillies tell me what's up. Or at least try to. One in a big black lilpenis mobile truck...pulled up beside me at the light to say F OFF Canuck fan.

Ya, never thought of that ... well, assuming the lotto ticket doesn't hit (in which case rest of the series would be on me), then will see if they offer same for a game in Round 3 (again assuming we prevail tonight - we will for Brock).

 

$12,800 divided by 20 = $640 a ticket. Even at 14 tickets that would be $915 each. I could have about 6 - 8 friends that would throw in from this neck of the woods for a box suite game.

First we lose our all-world goalie one game in....then our backup and we still manage to stay alive....

 

Now the hockey Gods decide to take away our top shooter.....

Soooo....I think I have to eat a bit of crow.....

 

I was one of the few who thought we overpaid for Lindy....not because I don't like the player, but because I thought we gave up too much for a rental. (BTW, I still think he's a rental. He won't be re-signed)

 

I said at the time that I'd revise my opinion if the Canucks made it to the 3rd round, with Lindholm making a significant contribution. Even though we haven't yet achieved that goal, I believe that injuries have tilted the scales against us and all things being equal, we would have already sent the Oilers packing.

 

So I'm here to say that I was wrong and the trade for Lindy was worth it.....win or lose the next game....

I haven't listened to interviews but has there been any talk about dressing 7 D by chance... If things aren't working early I wouldn't be against putting Zadorov forward and putting him infront of the net if these guys have learned to take more shots like they did in game 5.
