Demko is an injury prone goalie now Shilov has proven himself as a contender. 

 

And Boeser had some great goals but they are far and few. One hatty game and thats it. Where the consistency.

I'm getting old. Been watching the Canucks for 44 years now. My grandpa and my old man didn't live to see a cup. I'm pretty sure I won't either. But I guess like life, sports is not about being fair. 

 

This was a cool and unexpected little run. Completely exceeded expectations this year. But let's be honest. This was only the second round. Enjoy it for what is was, because there is no telling it will ever happen again for another 10 years, god knows what the future holds.

 

For the team's sake I hope they didn't hand out the franchise's biggest contract to mental sieve.

Hughes hasnt been the dynamic play driver the team relies on.  They really miss him on the back end.
