McJeebus fails to bury the no brainer. Shades of Mik there.

Insult of the month

Watching game one so far, I must admit, I don’t think we could have kept up with the pace of the Dallas Stars. We still have a couple depth pieces to build before we can compete at this level

We need more speed on the wings. Speed with size.

They're coming off nearly a week of rest so they're pretty fresh and have a lot of jump.

I'm not convinced we couldn't.

Hard to say because it would have been a different style of game.  Vancouver plays a much more stifling game than the Oilers do and wouldn't get into this more run and gun game these two teams are happy to play

With Demko we are obviously better than both these clubs.

Not really. Actually with Demko we play a more open game.

Suddenly Skinner almost seems reliable

Part of that comes from RT's system and philosophy of quality shots over quantity too.

Mik doesn't cry and dive like mcdavid*** lol when he got that 4 min high stick, gave the oilers a commercial break rest, he got away with it in the nucks series, can't now apparently, Dallas better win

Not really. Skinner still stinks. The Coilers are still turning pucks over in dangers situations. It’s simply luck.

I agree. Dallas seems to be throwing a lot of low danger shots at Skinner.

Didn't Alvin say at his presser that we needed more speed?

Need speed to transition the puck up the ice.

Was an obvious weakness in our game.
