The guy is pressured into signing a deal, a very good deal also team friendly might I add for an eight year term only to get injured in January ( which I might point out he was destroying the opposition for that month and continued to produce dangerous numbers in February ) only to start getting trashed by media and some fans again that maybe he was dealing with a poor mental state or had no strength or will to fight. Even Trevor Linden said he didn't think Pettersson was in the fight. That fucking sucks to hear as a fan of the Canucks, imagine how it would feel to take that non stop from day one at camp. No kidding the guy will take summer to reset and enjoy his life and get out of town to refocus. Zero indication he is not made for this city and I am sure he appreciates three games where fans chanted his name backing him.
