it did show us Podkolzin is ready. You can't just bark about your downside view of things.

Amen, lemonade!

Yeah kind of pissed at Joshua for fighting when he's become far more valuable to the team.

Frustrating to lose a great character player....but that's why he fought. He was protecting Garland because he's a great character player.

its true. You really have to look at the +'s of things like injuries, its how you find your next gem. Podz may in fact have to take over for Joshua, if he's pricing himself out of the market for us as a UFA.

I understand why, but I think Joshua can't play the role of the enforcer and be scorer / checker that he was on the line. I think it was shortsighted and really upset the team chemistry.

Sorry, that juice is not worth the squeeze.  They had a great thing going and, not only do you lose him long term, there's a good chance that chemistry could be gone too.  Over something silly

Why would the chemistry be gone?

Chemistry is fickle thing and when you've got it and lose it, it's hard to get back.  That's the main part of a coach's job, looking for chemistry and that's why they switch lines so much..........I'm not saying they can't get it back, but that's a long time for that line to be separated

I might be concerned if we were talking about more offensive player chemistry, but the foundations of each player are based on less finesse. I'd be pretty surprised if the got back together on that line and sucked.

They're keeping pretty tight lipped so far.

Tight lipped, on this, and basically every injury.

I was hoping having so many gambling 'partners' would force the league/teams to be way more open about injuries and timelines.

I am wondering if Lindy was damaged goods before the trade, and if so, did Calgary know and did the Canucks know?

Lindholm came broken? Shucks. Load manage him one of these games too. I don't care where win finishes in the standings as long as we're as close to healthy as possible when playoffs roll around.

Makes you wonder if Flames management knew something was bothering him. If so Canucks might have gotten played by the Flames

I would be shocked if they didn't know. But I mean, we had the chance to offload him on Boston at the TDL. So potentially we didn't know, meaning the Flames might not have, or they knew and we somehow didn't even as late as the TDL. Really hoping the 2nd option isn't true but we'll never truly know unless for some reason Conroy admits they knew he was damaged. Which he'd have no reason to do.

When you're talking about 10 games left in the season, shutting someone down to heal an injury isn't quite as ominous. Take it how you like at this point.

I mean that’s 3 weeks and it would mean he doesn’t get any games to ramp it up before playoffs.

It would indicate it’s more than just a minor injury too.
