This is mind-boggling.

26,313 women have been forced to deliver babies conceived by rape in a state with no rape exceptions for abortion, after Governor Abbot reassured women that the state would work tirelessly to eliminate all rapists from the streets of Texas when the abortion ban took effect.

JAMA study says more than 26,000 rape-related pregnancies in Texas since abortion ban

So if there is a criminal somewhere in my family tree I have bad genes? Or am I exempt because my family aren’t foreigners?
If criminality is genetic then this guy’s gene pool is a septic tank.

Did you look into the nonsense behind Trump's statements on hurricane relief as you said you would?  You should look into this too.

The US Department of Justice — under the Nixon administration, out of all administrations — sued the Trump Management Corporation for violating the Fair Housing Act. Federal officials found evidence that Trump had refused to rent to Black tenants and lied to Black applicants about whether apartments were available, among other accusations. Trump said the federal government was trying to get him to rent to welfare recipients. In the aftermath, he signed an agreement in 1975 agreeing not to discriminate to renters of color without admitting to previous discrimination.

Kip Brown, a former employee at Trump’s Castle, accused another one of Trump’s businesses of discrimination. “When Donald and Ivana came to the casino, the bosses would order all the black people off the floor,” Brown said. “It was the eighties, I was a teenager, but I remember it: They put us all in the back.”

A book by John O’Donnell, former president of Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, quoted Trump’s criticism of a Black accountant: “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.” Trump later said in a 1997 Playboy interview that “the stuff O’Donnell wrote about me is probably true.”

Yes. I realize these hundreds of millions are peanuts compared to the billions FEMA wastes in general and that the shell game with the money is not an argument that interests me.

In his lifetime that's it? The guy is a saint apparently. That last one is very typical humor back then unless you were a weirdo. Just watch an episode of Sanford and Son if you don't believe it.

So we are n longer talking about FEMA taking funds from hurricane relief to pay for migrant palatial housing?  Now we'll just talk of waste?   Bit of a backtrack isn't it?

There is no statute of limitations on racism.

From what I saw most commenters went fact checking.  Is this one of the debates where that is allowed?

Yeah I’m not sure that the people and/or states that are desperate for Federal help after natural disasters see these billions from FEMA as wasted money. As for FEMA spending money on migrants we have already shown that they do this under the direction of Congress.

You also posted that FEMA plays a shell game wasting billions of dollars without posting a shred of evidence other than those “press releases” then claim to have no interest in it. Seems odd.

Is the Democrat gound game all talk? Harris is making the appearances. Is she not coming across well? Trump is what he is which means he might add rather than subtract based on his musings. Scary thought. His foreign policy makes me very nervous, especially for Ukraine. It makes no dif to Canadians as both parties do not treat us well.

The Republican game is most certainly all talk.

Anyone so inclined could easily come up with poll figures that show the exact opposite of what 3-Petey posted.  It's still a close race but Kamala is still out ahead.

"

Ron DeSantis’s administration has appeared to threaten a local TV station with legal action for airing an abortion rights campaign ad.

The ad in question is the same one that aired in Florida during the vice presidential debate between Tim Walz and JD Vance. It features a woman named Caroline who needed to have an abortion and cancer treatments after a brain tumor diagnosis in 2022.

Such a difficult situation would have been complicated by Florida’s six-week abortion ban today.

“The doctors knew that if I did not end my pregnancy, I would lose my baby, I would lose my life, and my daughter would lose her mom,” the woman says. “Florida has now banned abortion … even in cases like mine. Amendment 4 is gonna protect women like me.”

The letter — dated October 3 and sent by the Florida Department of Health to WFLA TV’s vice president Mark Higgins — was shared on social media by journalist Jason Garcia, who accused the administration of “trying to intimidate” the TV station.

The DeSantis administration had previously been accused of using his election police dragnet to target citizens who signed a petition that successfully put Amendment 4 on November’s ballots.

Florida is one of several states with reproductive rights on the ballot this November. If passed, Amendment 4 would enshrine the right to abortion care in the state’s constitution, effectively overturning the six-week ban.

The department claims the ad is illegal under section 386.01 of Florida law that allows the state to remove any "nuisance" that "threatens or impairs" people’s health.

“The advertisement is not only false; it is dangerous,” the letter reads.

The Health Department said that if the ad is not removed within 24 hours, the department will initiate legal proceedings to obtain an injunction.

Critics have accused the state government of “fascism” and trying to silence political rivals.

Andrea Mitchell of CNN said Kamala needs to do more serious interviews.  Going on a sex podcast like Call Her Daddy might not have been the right choice. She’s also going on the Howard Stern show tomorrow. Seems like she might need a better PR department.

Biden was like 8 points ahead of Trump back in 2020 in October. Kamala does not have the same momentum. In fact, she is losing momentum since the debate. The election seems to be too close to call right now. It should never have been this close to begin with. Which means Kamala is a weak candidate.

Time for a serious interview I've heard.

Voters will get the chance to hear from Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday as she presents her case for why she should be president in a "60 Minutes" election special.

For decades, "60 Minutes" has featured both Republican and Democratic nominees for presidents, but this year, former President Donald Trump backed out after previously indicating he would be on the show. Correspondent Scott Pelley, who'd been set to interview Trump, will instead travel to Arizona's Maricopa County, home to more than 60% of Arizona's voters and a critical battleground in a key swing state.

The toast of hollywood?

Fascinating.

You mean he did in fact engage with, consort with and partied with known pedophiles, the hollywood leftists elite and was in fact the EXACT person he says is so evil and out of touch.

Thanks for clarifying.

Edit*  He's also been a reprehensible piece of shit and has made known racist statements and taken racist actions since the 80s but whatever

Bullshit. He's talking about immigrants from central and south America.

BTW: The numbers he's citing are from the past 40 years.....which means he too is responsible for some of those "bad genes", even though he's claiming it was all Kamala's fault.

So....a racist and a liar....
