Gotcha so he's "not lying" just pushing an "unproven claim" which is totally different.

You only care about the media being real.  The future potential VP and president of the US lying sorry "pursuing unroven claims" is totally ok thoguh.

Which is the meat of this for me.

You have you genders in a twist here because the media didn't use a title you approve of.  You actually think that is a bigger issue than two potential leaders of an entire nation openly lying to people in order to win an election and somehow think you can remain credible by claiming Harris is somehow the worse option and is somehow dishonest in comparison.

And you're doing it with a straight face which raises even more questions and definitely suggests the type of person engaged in the conversation.

What's the lie? His constituents are telling him it's happening and he is addressing it as is his job. You realize all things don't need to be on video to be true right?

Nobody is telling him.  One person made the claim.  That person walked it back and admitted she was lying.  One person heard a thing from a friend who said they talked to a guy who saw a thing and nobody can tell who that person is but even though the actual mayor/sheriff had essentially said nobody can verify this outside of purely anecdotal statements  Trump and he seized on it knowing that their base was ignorant and gullible enough to be emotionally swayed by this and essentially admitted it was all just for attention and nothing more

But you think that is more acceptable than a media company outright saying something of that nature with those reasons behind it is false because nobody can verify it and all evidence and statements to the contrary say it is false.

You do realize this is all on video right?  And just because someone says it is true doesn't make it true.

Holy fuck this dumb.

We’ve been all over this right after it happened.

When the eating pets thing was debunked they changed the story to not pets but “here’s a picture of Haitian guy carrying a goose so…” except it wasn’t a Haitian guy, it was a city worker in totally not Springfield. Then they tried to pass off an actual news story of a lady eating a cat, except guess what…it wasn’t a Haitian lady, it was a white lady with mental problems, and again…totally not in Springfield.

Now Vance tries to pass off lying about the story as his effort to bring media attention to “problems with Haitian immigrants in Springfield.” What a noble hero! Trump has the gall to say “well that’s what I’ve been hearing.” Like the possible next President of the US should be spreading shit about immigrants without actually having his people verify it.

The people of Springfield do actually have a real issue with Haitian immigrants and that is to do with their bad driving skills after several accidents and one young boy’s death. Citizens, the mayor, the police all say that can be dealt with. Hell even the dead boy’s father is mad that this has become a political attack on the Haitian community.

Here is his statement live. He clearly states in real time he is creating the american media interest the on stories, otherwise they would ignore it. So easy. Bonus, he does not admit he was wrong about cats.lol.

Oh I see you're a mind reader now. Ok it's is a lie then.

Apply for a job a Dem HQ. That's what they got.

Watch the actual video of the interview instead of a cut up version. Shameful what they did.  When Bash tries to pin the "you're creating stories" gotcha on him he rolls his eyes like she's nuts and explains he meant he is creating the media interest (obviously) Also he reiterates his support of constituent claims on the pet story. See the video above.

We all know there is no video evidence or proof, just lots of reports. I thought you knew that and were looking for evidence of that.

I don't understand the bolded but I will guess. Like Judge Judy I don't think he is a felon because the case brought against him was ludicrous.

The rest of your post is not applicable to me. I don't care about Haitians eating cats, I care about impartial media and maintaining real borders. Also you refer to what if the person was white etc. I could care less, white people are responsible for most of my issues.

While your opinion may disagree, the fact is that the worthless sack of shit you keep defending is a convicted felon.

Well he is competing against someone UNDEMOCRATICALLY chosen and someone who makes very poor choices lets him have fun.   The fact it's a dead heat and a good chance Trump beats Kamala speaks volumes.  Kamala also looks like she's campaigning to run a Chuck-E-Cheese.

Kamala is a fake and a phoney.  She comes up with this and then doesn't show up.  Probably a good choice since every time she does an interview or an event she drops in the polls.

You seem worried. Afraid your felon is going to end up behind bars instead of behind the Resolute desk. SAD.

Magats just love when Hair Gropenfuhrer talks dirty to them. Jill get your fat JD Vance  off the couch. Make him get the hell out there and vote.

Love the two hour delay getting into the venue, but it wasn't a security issue. It was a cosmetic issue. Translation, they had to curtain off vast areas of the venue to avoid the appearance of empty seats. The place was nowhere close to full. Remember, this was in Detroit. Last week or the week before he said, in Detroit, America was in such horrible shape that pretty soon every city would look like Detroit. Brilliant PR move, dimwit.

One of the most undemocratic primary's in American history.  You can't refute that. A panic button was pressed leading to no proper primary that lead to an obvious bad choice of a nominee that may not even beat Trump.

The same monotonous drum beat over and over and over. You seem concerned that Drumpf is going to lose. It almost seems like that Leon Musk fellow has taken over the dotards campaign.

Has family member Lara Trump been pushed to the side?

Stop worrying about the Dems run their shop and check out the shit show that Drumpfs campaign has become.

The Republicans actually let their members vote so yes Trump was more democratically elected compared to Harris as a nominee.

Even if you support the Democrats how can you say this was a very democratic process?  Why do you support bad things of your chosen party.  This is why political parties get away with doing shady things because they know their supporters won't flinch.

I have no idea why you keep going on about this.

Joe dropped out very late in the game… and the party quickly rallied behind a candidate. There really is nothing to see here - time to move on. You seem mad that the Dems have a candidate at all.

“Delegates to the Democratic National Convention began casting votes on Thursday to select their nominee for president, but unlike in past years, they did so not in the raucous party atmosphere of the convention floor or even during the convention itself. Instead, they participated in what the party called a “virtual roll call,” filling out electronic ballots from their homes, offices or vacation spots more than two weeks before the first delegate steps foot inside Chicago’s United Center.”

How long are you going to cling to this nonsense? People voted.

Harris wins Democratic presidential nomination in virtual roll call. Here’s how the process worked

WASHINGTON (AP) — Democratic delegates have selected Vice President Kamala Harris to be the party’s presidential nominee, according to final vote results released late Monday by the Democratic National Committee. But don’t expect a balloon drop just yet.

Harris officially claimed the nomination following a five-day online voting process, receiving 4,563 delegate votes out of 4,615 cast, or about 99% of participating delegates. A total of 52 delegates in 18 states cast their votes for “present,” the only other option on the ballot.

Harris had already secured the majority of votes needed to claim the nomination by Friday afternoon, DNC Chair Jaime Harrison announced in a live video presentation that day to mark the milestone, but the result was not official until after the voting period closed at 6 p.m. ET on Monday.

Delegates to the Democratic National Convention began casting votes on Thursday to select their nominee for president, but unlike in past years, they did so not in the raucous party atmosphere of the convention floor or even during the convention itself. Instead, they participated in what the party called a “virtual roll call,” filling out electronic ballots from their homes, offices or vacation spots more than two weeks before the first delegate steps foot inside Chicago’s United Center.

And what a democratically run GOP party.  Dotard has his daughter in law as Co-chair of the party.  I'm sure she was really qualified for that position.

An aide to Ohio Sen. JD Vance was informed by a top Springfield, Ohio, official earlier this month that claims about Haitian migrants eating cats and dogs were false but the vice presidential nominee went ahead with spreading the rumor anyway, according to a new report from the Wall Street Journal and confirmed by ABC News.

City manager Bryan Heck, in a Sept. 9 phone call, told a Vance staffer the "claims were baseless" when asked if they were true.

A city spokesperson confirmed to ABC News the accuracy of the Wall Street Journal's reporting about the call.

Trump was the presumed candidate before he even announced he was running. Each party votes in their Candidate. That’s exactly what happened. And both candidates still carry the support of their party’s…. so wtf?

I’m honestly confused by @bolt’s confusion here. If he is looking for an illegitimate candidate - the insurrectionist convict kinda stands out. If he’s concerned that the democratic voters didn’t get their fair shake, then just look at her current and ongoing support. But I suspect that this is all just a lame attempt at painting her as an illegitimate candidate, therefore an illegitimate President when she wins the WH… it’s boring.

Smart like him than to know better to get into a business venture with Herr Vonn Sh*tshisPants.  Only person coming out ok with anything he runs is Dotard himself.  The best guy to leave other people holding the bag in the world.  Ask the numerous vendors he stiffed.  Great businessman sure if you don't have to pay the bills,

I watched the entire episode and enjoyed Scarborough and Cuban's contribution, but I felt like slapping Maher for his condescending interview with Parkland survivor David Hogg. When he wasn't lecturing Hogg on Middle East history, he was insulting young people.

There was only one adult in that conversation and it wasn't Bill. Hogg, OTOH, comported himself extremely well....

Leon is only interested in "Free speech" that he approves of....

Twitter on Thursday suspended the accounts of journalists who cover the social media platform and its new owner Elon Musk, including reporters working for The New York Times, Washington Post, CNN and other publications.

The company hasn't explained to the journalists why it took down the accounts and made their profiles and past tweets disappear. But Musk took to Twitter on Thursday night to accuse journalists of sharing private information about his whereabouts, which he described as "basically assassination co-ordinates." He provided no evidence for that claim.

Independent journalist Aaron Rupar was one of those who found themselves banned from the platform.

"I was playing on the floor of our condo with my seven-month-old [baby] yesterday evening and started getting messages from people saying 'Oh my goodness, your Twitter account has been suspended,'" he told CBC News in an interview.

Rupar, who had hundreds of thousands of followers on the platform, says he was surprised he was not given any notification or warning from Twitter before the ban.

"I was left to do reporting on my own to figure out what happened and it turned out I was part of a larger group of journalists critical of Elon who were banned."
