My theory is that his own handlers killed the microphone so he wouldn't be able to ramble off in all directions. His tech team was able to cue up and play Ave Maria on demand two nights before, but they can't figure out a backup plan for microphone failure? Trump stating his refusal to pay for the venue is icing on the cake.

My last post:   But why didn't you answer my post when I asked you basically ........SO WHAT?

20 hours ago, Cranston said:

I don't understand the bolded but I will guess. Like Judge Judy I don't think he is a felon because the case brought against him was ludicrous.

My gawd, why do I bother?  Its nothing to do with Judge Judy or Trump's felonies.
I'll be simple so you understand.  Even IF there was video evidence of one or even a number of these legal migrant Haitians cooking and eating a stray cat, for instance.  And say you told this horror story to someone, and they just looked blankly at you and replied "So What?"   How would you respond to them?

"OMG cats are our intergalactic overlords! They are our superior beings. These people should be clawed to death!"

Or would you respond, like most people, and say "that's disgusting....I hope they get prosecuted to the fullest extent for whatever laws they have against that in Springfield"

or would you respond as Trump.  Deport all Haitian migrants, (even the legal ones in Springfield he said). But also millions more undocumented, no matter their criminal status, or family they have now.  Because in fact they are rapists, murderers, and drug dealers mostly. Millions of them poisoning the blood of the country.

And pu.........lease.  "I don't care about Haitians eating cats"  after, how many posts now?, trying to defend their lies (sorry, unproven accusations) with other tweets and quotes?

And at the risk of making another long reply......how in any world can you say you want an 'impartial media',  then criticize them for not just dismissing his statement about creating stories. Its all right there for you.  JD told you exactly why they fomented this fake news.  What Trump/Vance are doing is creating false stories, to implant false fear into voters minds, in order "so that the American media actually pays attention to the suffering of the American people, then that’s what I’m going to do.”

What is this "suffering" he speaks of?  Springfield's economy was restored by this influx of hard working immigrants. Property prices increased.  So it is another kind of suffering. Could it be that the "suffering" was only him and his fellow MAGAT racists having to buy a quart of milk from another one of those brown/black guys that weren’t born in America?

Trump.  Mr Stamina.  The Unstoppable Don.

Cancels everything because he's tired.  Will ONLY talk to friendly media.

Recently, it’s become something of a pattern: Donald Trump is scheduled for an interview with a neutral media outlet, the date nears and then … things fall apart.

It happened just this week to planned Trump sit-downs with NBC in Philadelphia and CNBC’s “Squawk Box” — and that’s on the heels of him backing out of a “60 Minutes” episode earlier this month.

Why does this keep happening? Another outlet was recently given an explanation by Trump’s team for why their own interview wasn’t coming to fruition: exhaustion.

The Trump campaign had spent weeks in conversations with The Shade Room, a site that draws a largely young and Black audience — a demographic where Trump has been making inroads. It hosted an interview with Kamala Harris just last week.

But no interview has materialized. As Shade Room staff began feeling that feet were being dragged inside Trump’s campaign, they pressed earlier this week to set a date for a sit-down.

In response, a Trump adviser told Shade Room producers that Trump was “exhausted and refusing [some] interviews but that could change” at any time, according to two people familiar with the conversations.

Trump-supporting rapper Waka Flocka Flame was offered up as an alternative, those two people say.

Trump national press secretary Karoline Leavitt, while making clear she wasn’t part of the back-and-forth for the Shade Room interview, said last night that the idea that Trump was exhausted “is unequivocally false.”

“President Trump is running laps around Kamala Harris on the campaign trail,” Leavitt said. “And has done media interviews every day this week. He has more energy and a harder work ethic than anyone in politics.”

While Trump's team notes that their candidate has constantly done interviews, they have been mainly with friendly hosts or on friendly networks of late.

As for the one contentious interview he did this week, with Bloomberg editor-in-chief John Micklethwait, Trump later complained that he was “hoodwinked to go on that," learning about his interlocutor only after committing to a Chicago Economic Club event.

“President Trump has never backed down from any interview,” Leavitt added. “This is a man who held a CNN town hall in the middle of the Republican primary, for goodness’ sake.”
