My dislike for Elon is no secret so my delight at this should be no surprise.   We no longer seem to have an Elon thread so I'll post it here as a White House move.

Aren't these are the same virtue signalers that wrote Biden a semi-threatening letter because they didn't like that he was giving Israel all of the support that he is giving them?

Talk about 2-faced..

"

MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan called out an attorney who threatened to jail him and revoke his citizenship if Donald Trump wins the presidency.

Mike Davis of the Article III Project made the threat after Hasan aired a report about who Trump could appoint in his next administration.

"@mehdirhasan is now on my Lists 2 (indict), 4 (detain), 6 (denaturalize), and 3 (deport)," Davis wrote on X. "I already have his spot picked out in the DC gulag. But I'll put him in the women's cell block, with @Timodc. So these whiny leftists don't get beat up as often."

Hasan responded on Monday.

"Nothing to see here, just the former Gorsuch law clerk touted as Trump's next attorney-general, threatening to indict, detain, & deport me (for what?) & put Tim Miller, who is gay, in a women's prison," the MSNBC host wrote. "Nothing at all unconstitutional, fascistic, or bigoted about any of this. 🤷🏽♂️"

Davis regularly appears on Fox News and MAGA media outlets like Steve Bannon's War Room.

Does anyone here still believe this prick is anything but the world's richest troll?

I think he's a good example of why abortion should be allowed, and that his mother clearly made a poor decision.

I don't know what to make of Musk's antics since he bought Twitter.  His reputation and net worth have taken a hit ever since.

Which is unfortunate.

I'm currently reading Musk's biography (by Walter Isaacson).  I find it a fascinating story.  Let's not overlook the fact that Musk has been a major force for electric cars and has rejuvenated the American rocket industry.  Either one of which would be remarkable for any person.  And he's done both!

Musk is brilliant.   And he loves working under pressure situations.  To an extent that he will create such a situation even if none exists.  Possibly the stress has gotten to him?

In any event, I'm waiting to see how this latest controversy plays out and I'm hoping it isn't as bad as some are saying.  Because I'm coming away from the book with an admiration for the man.

(A sidenote:  there's a Canadian connection to Musk.   He wanted to emigrate from South Africa to the US when he was a teenager.  He found the process to be difficult and realized it would be easier to get to the States from Canada.  So he came to Canada in 1989.  After working on his cousin's prairie farm for a while, he came to Vancouver.  His mother joined him here but didn't like the rain.  So they moved to Toronto where Musk enrolled and studied at Queen's University for two years before transferring to the University of Pennsylvania.)
