He plays on both sides of the fence and uses other's words to do it... As for the Trump quote, Nikki Haley is the only one besides Trump with even a small chance of winning the general election. That's because she'll garner some identity politics votes from the left. Her problem is being able to rally the entirety of the Republican base. Trump is the only candidate that they have that will excite the Republican base and will bring them to the polls in large enough numbers. There are plenty of Republicans in Washington that do not want to see Trump win, but they will form a line and kiss his hind quarters just like last time if he does.
