Isn't it so sad though that some get so very upset about what people do with their own bodies.

We live in a society that glorifies violence and death in almost every form of entertainment. But helping young lesbians understand some sexual options is seen as disgusting.

I think it just boils down to some people feel really uncomfortable discussing sex related topics especially to their kids compared to violence and death.

They have to learn about tasting their own vagina juices at age 12?

I had the sex talk long before that point and had discovered the joys of dirty magazines as well.  This was without the aid of a handheld device that gave me Internet access.

Liberals have banned books as well.  Mom's for liberty would be doing the opposite of trying to erase history but okay.  Liberals have set back racial tensions 30 years.  Hell, Aunt Jemima got cancelled and even her own family was disgusted and offended that the history was erased.

You'd have to ask a woman about the best time to learn such things.

I think you also have to back up all the other stuff you said.  You could start by explaining just WTF 'Liberals have set back racial tensions 30 years' means.

I remember a special sex-ed school assembly in middle school. Im going back to the late 80's.

It was a wierd play, one part was two boys were learning about themselves and about sex. They pretended to masturbate at one point and were discussing it.

I'll never forget the roar of laugher from the school when one of the actors was saying 'spit on it, it makes it work better!'

Oh my, all our frineds would repeat those lines for weeks after and laugh our asses off. We would use it whenever we had any type of problem...'did you try spitting on it?'

Good memories.

Sex ed start at garde 7 and really gets into it by grade 8. Nothing out of ordinary tbh.

Example please of liberals banning history books.

As far as rebranding goes, that is more corporate non sense than liberals pushing anything. I don't remember there was any major pressure campaign to do so.

But I am talking about what we as a society allow children to read, watch, listen to, play in their video games...

not what the parents feel comfortable with...what our society feels is it's more comfortable with.

So why would you not let your kid read it and why would your wife be livid?

What I am trying to say is some parent would rather avoid having their child come home and start asking question about sex they are uncomfortable to discuss with their child because their child read this book or saw a video about it. The banning is essentially trying to avoid the genesis of that conversation.

There should be a license required to breed.

Years ago there was a rumour going around the Marilyn Manson had ribs removed so he could perform self fellatio.  And there were kids at the time that understood what that meant.  Some of those kids are now parents.  Some likely parents of teens themselves.

Kids understand a lot more than you give them credit for.

Oh, but the Mom's for Liberty and their ilk are trying to erase history.  Or have you missed the whole CRT scare groups like them have been pushing over the past few years.

Aunt Jemima was a minstrel character.  The company made a business decision that many liberals (myself included) were unaware of until it happened.  Much like the Dr. Seuss and Potato Head changes. I'll own up to these, you own up to the moronic Bud Light debacle.  Or the Target scam.  I can go on here.

Who said I would not let my kid read it?   I have two straight boys that I would love no less if they happened to be gay.   If I had a daughter who was not straight you can bet I would be no less loving and supportive.   And I would not be censoring what she read any more than I censored what my boys read.

My wife has her own views on things and I'm sure her initial reactions to that book would differ from mine.   I'm not sure what her final conclusions would be.

You sure know how to pick a line or two to respond to.  Can you tell me now how 'Liberals have set back racial tensions 30 years' ?

Man, Hollywood gone woke.

Except there was a segment in All In The Family where minstrel blackface was called out as racist.   Another where a, oh heavens, a drag queen was featured.

Man, so woke these days.

Or how about a character in a major show whose ex wife is in a lesbian relationship.   Another in that show whose dad is a drag queen.

Nope, Hollywood is tooooooo woke today.

can this be challenged in the federal Supreme Court @Sabrefan1?

Pretty sure it can.....and will be.

The question is: will the SCOTUS hear it? My guess is yes, but who knows? They have been all about respecting lower court decisions lately. We'll see if that holds when Bone Spurs in involved.

I guess the question I have is, does it have to go through the courts in each state if this is upheld? or would state governments simply be able to declare the orange clown in violation of the 14th and scrub him off the ballot?

I believe so.....however, the courts in those other states can now point to the Colorado decision for precedence.

Sorry you said it would likely ruffle your feathers.  Fine, If you wanna let your 12 year old read pornographic material with strap-ons and vagina juice tasting, you do you.

Would take all day to talk about and I'm not into that.  For the last 10 years I've had to listen to liberals claim racism at every opportunity, referring to Trump has Hitler, CNN labelling each and every person by their skin color first and name second,  the cancellation of history ie statues, retail products, names etc.  There has been more racial tension the last 10 years than there was the previous 20.    How is BLM doing these days anyways?

Back then things were natural, today in Hollywood it is forced to meet liberal ideologies.

Have you seen Seth Rogen's Christmas show, "Santa Inc"    It's about a girl who wants to be Santa but it's hard because Santa and the North Pole are just oppressive white males..  These are the types of things coming out of Hollywood now lol.

yea I'm not sure how it all works in the US of A. I suspect you are correct and each state has to do a court thing.

But as with all things Trump, I won't count any chickens until the piece of crap is actually out of the picture.

Yeah, there certainly does seem to be a special set of rules for Ser Dotard....for example, you can pretty much guarantee that Thomas and Alito will vote to hear the case, no matter what they have decided about precedent in the past.
