I do wonder how Georgia would get him into custody. Obviously he's no Navalny and would never head straight into the fire. He'd avoid Georgia like it was Vietnam x 10. So how do Georgia officials get him into their custody, should they ever need to? Could they cross state lines and apprehend him? Could he hide for the rest of his days in DC?

Only the federal authorities like the US Marshals and FBI are technically allowed to apprehend criminals across state lines.  Also, the Secret Service wouldn't allow Trump to be taken out of their custody and/or handcuffed while they are tasked with protecting him.

If Trump is found guilty and it's decided he needs to be imprisoned, the US Secret Service would bring him to whichever prison he is assigned to, only after they had a chance to fortify it to their satisfaction.

Honestly, if it goes that far and the Democrats are in charge of both Congress and Biden still has the Oval Office, they'll pass a bill stripping him of his detail and then he'd be taken into custody by US Marshals and escorted to Georgia.

However, all prison joking aside, the most likely outcome by far of any prison sentence though would be Trump wearing an ankle bracelet while under house arrest at Mar A Lago on his own dime.

Biden could walk on to the stage drooling, poop his pants and completely butcher his teleprompter speech and somehow still win an election.

Pretty sure that's already happened....with Trump

Not too mention his own ex wife stating that he kept Hitler speeches by his bedside or generals stating that he wanted them to be as loyal to him as Hitler's generals.

That's why he buried her on his golf course....

Now he can bounce his balls off her headstone....

First thing I thought too.

But strange, that when talking about if Trump is taking pointers and lines from Hitler speeches, someone would think being old, incontinent, and poor with teleprompters is even close to as bad.

Yep. Trump wants to destroy the republic and take dictatorial control over the country--there's no doubt. He's tested the strength of their government and courts, and while we've seen them bend, one can only hope they don't break.

The good thing is that generation Z is getting older and many are now voting age. And more states may follow Colorado's lead in barring Trump from the ballot, so long as his appeal doesn't work in SCOTUS.

I have a lot of hope with gen z.

He's ancient and confused, but his policies and accomplishments during his tenure so far have been solid. A lot there to like.

agreed, but we're talking about what will play in the US. They won't come out to vote enough for someone they see as too old. It is what it is, the dems at the very least need a popular VP choice.

All Biden and the Dems need to do is tout the legislative accomplishments and show the public at large, especially suburban women, how the Republicans are stripping their right away. White womens. Those womens are the ones that will win or lose this for Biden and the Dems.

White womens are the most important women in America.

They will talk to each other and get the vote out.

I won't. Gen z is abandoning Biden in droves.

Main complaint is how Biden failed to cancel their student debt dispite the fact Biden did cancel their debt but was road blocked by SCOTUS along party lines. Heck even with that ruling, Biden still managed to cancel the largest amount of student debt in history.

Their failure to understand this makes me very disappointed in that generation. Really played into the instant gratification stereotype with gen z.

Second highest complaint is his handling of Israel-Hamas war. While I agree that Biden did himself no favor vetoing resolution for call for ceasefire in SC when only like 8 countries voted against it in the GA, he at least have softened US unquestionable support for IDF actions. I doubt any other president would have not just send boots to the ground already. But more importantly, this really should not be the straw that broke the camel's back.

Other major complaint from gen z is Biden not codifying Roe v Wade post Dobbs. Does these kids know civics? That is not how this works.

The other being climate change and more specifically Biden approving oil development in Alaska. That I can agree with but at the same time, people complain about high oil prices and the resultant inflation. What else do you want Biden to do to lower that? We can't just convert the whole car fleet to electric overnight. That take decades not to mention the green infrastructure needed to power that.

shouldn't Biden be doing what the voters want, instead of the way around?

You don't file bankruptcy for fun and without a plan.

You file bankruptcy in these cases to protect your assets like your main home and main vehicle, and to further protect your retirement accounts above and beyond the normal protections.

It also slows down your creditors (the plaintiffs) from picking apart your estate while you hide every red cent that you can.

Rudy is going to OJ Simpson the h*ll out of this judgment.  The thing that sucks for him, like OJ, Rudy will never own anything valuable ever again.  If he so much as buys a gold plated pot to p*ss in, the plaintiff's attorneys will have it seized and sold.

On Israel-Hamas war yes.

Climate change, also yes but that comes with the complication of inflation and gas prices. Our society as a whole is still not ready and might never be ready for the financial hardship that will come with transition away from fossil fuels.

Student debt, he already did but can't do much more with this congress and scotus. Same goes for abortion question. This is what is most disappointing with gen z. Failure to realize the president and the dems can't move in this without more support in congress. Instead of mobilizing to get more aligned politicians in congress, they balked at the first sign of a set back.

I guess if you never push for what you want, why would politicians change? they will also have to live with the consequences of their choices a lot longer than us old farts.
