I just quickly perused the story. Nowhere does it state there are 800 books dealing with gender identity and sexual orientation in the curriculum. The story talks about an inquiry into 800 books that could be found in school libraries covering topics such as race, gender identity and sexual orientation. It's interesting me me you omitted the word "race" from your complaint but added that all the books were somehow part of the curriculum; as if any curriculum total over 12 years of schooling comes to 800 books combined.

Gov. DeDufus did something right for once.  He ended permanent spousal alimony in his state(FL).  Unsurprisingly plenty of the "strong independent women" in the state apparently flipped out.  Immediately after the law was signed, thousands of women switched their party affiliation registration from Republican to Democrat.

 

The law even gives a spouse 3 years to bail before the other spouse is eligible for alimony and caps payments at 15 years maximum.

I still remember when Kevin Federline was getting 7 figures a year alimony, on top of child support, for years after his divorce.  Apparently backup dancers need to be kept in the lap of luxury instead of shaking their booty on stage.

Greene says she was swatted while at home with family on Christmas

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) said someone reported a fake crime at her home Monday, the latest in a series of apparent swatting incidents that have targeted her.

 

“I was just swatted. This is like the 8th time. On Christmas with my family here. My local police are the GREATEST and shouldn’t have to deal with this,” she said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

 

Greene added that she appreciates the local police and her family is in “joyous spirits” celebrating Christmas.

 

Swatting incidents have occurred at the controversial Georgia Republican’s home since last year. One happened in August 2022 when a caller claimed a shooting was happening at Greene’s home, and another happened the next day when a caller hinted they may have shot their family.

 

The caller from the first incident last August said in a computer-generated voice in a later call to officials that they were upset with Greene’s position on the rights of transgender youth.

 

The Hill has reached out to local police for comment and additional information about the latest incident.

15 years should be more than enough time to go back to school or go to a trade school.  Get some training and then get a job.  Or, find yourself another guy to pay for everything.  Or turn 65.

If your spouse was a homemaker in today's age, he/she deserves support for 7-10 years so they can either choose to get job experience or go to school.  You should not have to work until the day you die because an ex wants to sponge off of you.

 

I never had children nor did I every marry.  I never felt the need to sign a government contract with someone that incentivized them to leave with half of my stuff plus extra money over a certain term of years.

Each item on the invoice has a tax code beside it.  Basic groceries are taxed at 0%, some items have GST and are taxed at 5%, and very few things have GST and PST and are taxed at 12%. There are no other taxes, so your story about paying $40 in taxes on $300 of groceries sounds like bullshit to me.

This is MTG.  It appears she is exxaggerating this story on multiple fronts.  She is obviously well-known to the local police at this point, and it seems like this instance was just another case of some cops knocking on the door to check up.  This was not a case of fully geared troops busting the front door down, which is the impression she might be trying to associate here.

 

Swatting is bad.  And nobody should trust a fucking thing MTG says.  I don't even feel bad for her.

I'm holding the fucking receipt in hand. It says sub total $298.05 Under that it says taxable value GST 26.14 PST 12.18 then tax value GST 1.31 = $300.22.

Why the fuck would i lie about that? I'm screen shooting the receipt and putting this whole conversation on X, I wasn't but if a bunch of Trudeau libs will call me a liar, i will.
