Swalwell: You said to President Biden, “you appear to have a photographic understanding and recall.” Did you say that?

Hur: Those words do appear in the transcript

Swalwell: Never appeared in your report

Hur: It does not appear in my report”

Also, Biden gives the exact date of his son's death on the transcript while Hur wrote that he forgot in his report.

Well, Hur fell apart, what's next on the docket. This Biden no energy/bad memory angle of their's has taken quite a hit the last little while with his SOTU address and then this.

One thing bad for Biden is that he did take those private documents. Contrasting against Trump and it's not so bad, but it was still an error.

Garland was a complete dunce appointing this guy.

Garland is what he is. A centrist who tries to look as impartial as possible. With the Republicans race to the right, however, a centrist is very convenient and beneficial for them.

Before the appointment, Hur was considered to be non-partisan by both sides.....but for some reason, he decided to change his stripes in this particular case....

There are suggestions making the rounds that he's angling for a position in the next Trump administration.....

This is the real Great Replacement Theory, IMO....

Any of those replacements and changes will be short term.  He has roughly 2 1/2 years of effective governing then he's a lame duck.  If the Democrats manage to hold onto one of the Congressional houses, he'll be minimized those 2 1/2 years.  The next Democrat president will do the same thing with the people who Trump and/or Heritage install.  They'll tear down and gut a conservative government.

Quote

Regarding the RNC, it could be that they plan to replace these people with "shallow state" loyalists, or it could be that they've decided they need every penny they can get to spend on their Dear Leader's legal bills.....

And people will just keep giving him their money like lemmings.

The issue is that Trump and his enablers are trying to ensure that 2024 is the last election in the US.

Everyone seems to look at RFK's campaign as a threat to Biden's re-election, but as I see it, it could split the Imbecile vote....

....that would be bad news for Trump....

Ventura was the governor of Minnesota between 1999 and 2003., so has some experience.

He has also jumped the shark

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Former Gov. Jesse Ventura's defamation trial had a day off in St. Paul federal court Friday after a week of surprising revelations.

Among them, Ventura testified in court that he doesn't know if he's controversial, or if he says anything provocative.

That may come as a surprise to many Minnesotans, who are accustomed to Ventura's sometimes unusual behavior.

As Minnesota governor, Ventura moonlighted as a wrestling referee, sharing the ring with a wrestler named "Mr. Ass."

In Playboy Magazine, he called organized religion "a sham and a crutch for weak-minded people."

And he belittled Minnesota hunters in the Star Tribune. The former Navy SEAL said "you haven't really hunted until you've hunted man."

Ventura was governor during 9/11, and led the state's official memorial service. Now he believes the U.S. government and Dick Cheney -- not Osama bin Laden -- were behind it.

"My theory of 9/11 is that we certainly, at best, we knew it was going to happen. They allowed it to happen to further their agenda in the Middle East to go to these wars," Ventura told former CNN host Piers Morgan.

And because a federal court dismissed his lawsuit against the TSA, Ventura now vows to turn his back on the U.S. flag, and raise a fist like the 1968 Olympians.

And the United States of America?

"We are no longer, in my opinion, the United States of America. We're the fascist states of America," Ventura said in a 2012 press conference at the federal courthouse in St. Paul.

The former governor is suing the estate of Chris Kyle, the deceased author of the bestselling memoir "American Sniper," for defamation.

The book claims Ventura was "punched out" in a California bar for making offensive and unpatriotic comments, an incident Ventura says never happened.

Is the GOP majority in the house going to be down to 1 in less than 2 weeks?

https://newrepublic.com/post/179770/mike-johnson-no-idea-ken-buck-quitting-house-gop

Representative Ken Buck took to social media to announce his near-immediate leave from Congress, resigning so fast that even his party leaders were caught off guard by the decision.

“Today, I am announcing that I will depart Congress at the end of next week,” Buck said in a statement on Tuesday. “I look forward to staying involved in our political process, as well as spending more time in Colorado with my family.”

Ventura claims he was so good at his job as governor, the Democrats and republicans worked together against him. He must have been an independent.

Well, he's bang on about organized religion, but other than that, he sounds like a perfect running mate for Trump.

That's just plain fear mongering and paranoia.  They may try and reshape the government, but the GOP definitely doesn't want a Dictator Donald.  They don't even really want President Donald, but they'll put up with him and make plans for someone else in 2028.

They already tried once by attempting to overturn a lawful election.  The track record of these Nazis doesn't suggest that they'll stop their war on democracy on the near future.

That inept attempt 4 years ago was all Donnie.  I'm not the least bit worried.  I'm much more worried about who wins the 2028 election if they go ahead and remake the executive branch into the Heritage Foundation's wet dream.

The Republican party and even Trump's biggest sycophants will start bailing on him, looking for new jobs, even earlier than they did his first term.  That's another indignity that all 2 term presidents get to go through.  MAGA will slowly fade away.  It would already be dying today had he beat Joe Biden in 2020.

But he did!  Or are you "one of those"?🤨
