I don't disagree with you, I was just pointing out it wasn't black and white.  However as per the point that Warhippy was making, the Democrats will play dirty pool, just like any other party, when it suits them to do so.  They aren't the glowing angels that some believe them to be.

They're a big money political operation. Anyone thinking they're an benevolent organization is a fool.

Bernie never would have won the Rust Belt states with his Socialist mantra. You'd currently be in the 8th year of Trump rule. So what's the point? Besides Bernie literally had a heart attack during the last campaign. He wasn't the answer.

No different up here. The people don't vote for party leadership, the party does. Not like I've ever seen the name Trudeau on my ballot.

I argued with a lot of my fellow "lefties" about that after the 2016 election. There were a lot of people claiming that Bernie would have won....

My take at the time is the same as your s is now: The word Socialism holds an inordinate amount of fear for a lot of Americans.....mainly because they don't really understand the word, but still....

The Trump campaign would have painted Bernie as a Socialist and he would have lost by a bigger margin in the swing states. He might have made up some of those numbers in deep Blue counties, but I'd bet he would have lost the popular vote as well as the election.

Ironically, one of the major causes of Hillary's loss was the Bernie Bros staying home......even after the man himself practically begged them to vote for Clinton.

It was more a combination of Gary Johnson (wonder where that loser is now?) and a bit of Jill Stein and a big serving of James 'the idiot' Comey. But yeah head strong, butt hurt Bernie Bros did not help.

if you want Biden to lose the next election by a wide margin, choose AOC as his VP. It would give the GOP everything they need for a landslide.

the pouty wing of the progressives helped Trump win for sure.

Im not saying he would have won or not

I am saying the way they treated him, and the way they run the DNC makes them just as bad as the GOP

Not only that but In Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania around 12% of those that voted for Bernie in the primaries, voted for Trump in the general election. It was their way of giving the middle finger to the system.

Sooo....Hair Gropenfuhrer is whingeing that "Mother Teresa couldn't beat the charges" that he's currently waiting on a verdict for....of course the responses were on point:

Quote

"Did she pay off a porn star?" replied Ron Filipkowski.

"How did mother Teresa come into hush money," X user @goLoko77 wanted to know.

The genius of Mother Teresa was that, during her life of service, she didn’t falsify business records and break campaign law to conceal having paid hush money to a porn star," replied James Withers. "Smart lady."

Guess who has to keep notes handy for his rants at the end of court sessions?

You'd think that after repeating that BS line a few hundred times, he'd have it memorized.....Apparently, it's not as easy to "ace" as Man, Woman, Person, Camera, TV.....

But Joe Biden is the one who's cognitively impaired.....:classic_rolleyes:

It's a huge part of the reason I suggest that trump doesn't stand a chance in the next election.

There's no angry millions of voters who feel slighted to push the needle the other way.  People forget that Hillary won the popular vote.  Had she had even 500k more votes it never would have gone to the electoral college and she would have been the first female US president.

Without that extra push the likelihood of trump winning again on the backs of the angry moderates and "bernie bros" is very very slim

I'm shocked.

I've been reading a bit more about this since this morning. Alito's excuse is that he's never flown any flags....it's all his wife's doing.....

Which leads me to the conclusion that both Alito and Thomas would have us believe that there's nothing wrong with their ethics....they just both have shitty taste in women....

I'm still hope, hoping that Clarence Thomas takes the blatant bribe offer  by John Oliver;  and accepts the money and motor home John will provide, once Clarence announces his resignation.

I never had any real hope that he'd do it.

Accepting that deal would have been tantamount to admitting that he was nothing but a partisan hack and I don't think he'd do that. (even if everyone knows it)

He's got his rich friends to "loan" him the money to buy the same thing, if he wants it. Whether the loan is ever repaid? Well, that's up to him and his friend, isn't it?

I do believe the 'loan' was forgiven, by his friend.

For the few that don't know what's up, here is the show we are talking about.

A Faux reporter dares to tell the truth regarding the Trump NY trial:

https://thehill.com/homenews/media/4692618-fox-news-shannon-bream-alina-habba-biden-trump-trial/

Quote

Fox News anchor and legal analyst Shannon Bream pushed back on an assertion made by Alina Habba, one of Donald Trump’s attorneys, that President Biden is responsible for the criminal charges the former president faces in New York.

“And Joe Biden unfortunately can’t really do anything in office,” Habba said as she joined Bream, the host of “Fox News Sunday” who was broadcasting for much of the afternoon from outside the Manhattan courthouse where Trump’s trial is taking place. “So he’s got to use the same means as somebody who’s just trying to have a quick slip and fall and make money. And that is, frankly, what we’re seeing right now.

“This is exactly a Biden show because he’s got to distract the American people,” Habba continued.

“But the Biden administration is not responsible for this trial,” Bream interjected.

“How can you say the Biden administration is not responsible?” Habba shot back.

“It’s a state trial,” Bream explained. “It’s [Manhattan District Attorney] Alvin Bragg. Whether you think there’s a political motive for him, it’s not connected to the DOJ. I mean, the feds passed on these election charges.”

After Habba suggested logs showing state officials in New York and Georgia visiting the White House were proof of political influence in Trump’s prosecution, Bream pushed back by saying, “The feds passed on these cases, is the point I’m making.”

And of course, Trump has already slammed her:

Quote

"Shannon just suggested that Crooked Joe Biden was not involved in my Show Trial. HOW STUPID!" he declared. "Not only is he involved, he is virtually leading it, and all of the other Trials as well."

I wonder how long she lasts at the network after this?

In November, vote for Kennedy, Stein etc. is vote for Trump.

I do have a lengthy list of grievances with the democrats and Biden, but based on what my alternative is, it’s Joe all the way.

It depends on the state that you live in.  In NY and California, a million people could vote for Santa Clause and Biden will still win both states by a veritable landslide.

Also, I still think that Kennedy will pull more votes from Trump than he will pull from Biden.  He has a fair amount of moderate Republican viewpoints.

I agree.

Kennedy's main attraction for any voter is going to be his anti-vaxx stance. That's definitely going to be a bigger drag on Republican numbers. Democrats have their share of nutters, but the Repugs made it a central part of what they are during the Pandemic. Trump even got booed by his own people for telling them to get vaccinated.

That's why Dotard has been attacking Kennedy on social media lately. If he thought RFKJ was going to bleed votes from Biden, he'd STFU....

Fun fact, in 2020 in only 4 states Biden and Trump won every single county.

Massachusetts, Hawaii, West Virginia and Oklahoma.
