Poll Persistently Showing Biden Up Now Has Trump Ahead 4 Points Nationally

Hmm, something weird going on with this one. This goes against every other recent poll where independent support for Trump dipped post conviction.

Pastor Luis Cabrera and his conservative group threatened to shut down school board meetings if a superintendent of a school district in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas did not heed their demands to ban a wide array of books, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reported.

In the end, Superintendent Carol Perez agreed to the demands to remove 676 books, including a number of books that address the Holocaust and antisemitism.

Trumps SCOTUS has ruled in favour of Perdue Pharma and that huge opioid settlement which would have helped aid the fight against the opioid crisis. I'm sure the Sackler family is kicking their heals, rat bastards.

Actually it opens them up for more lawsuits and revokes immunity. It could get worse for them.

Actually, it opens back up the possibility that the family responsible, who profited from the crisis, can be personally sued into bankruptcy...

The Sackler family were given a deal in that settlement that kept them from losing their fortune.

Supreme Court rejects multibillion-dollar Purdue Pharma opioid settlement that shielded Sackler family

This part was interesting ..............

By a 5-4 vote, the justices ruled that a bankruptcy judge does not have broad power to arrange a mass settlement of thousands of claims that includes protections for people who are not bankrupt.

The justices were split in an unusual way. Justice Neil M. Gorsuch spoke for the majority, while Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. and Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Brett M. Kavanaugh dissented.

Yep.  It was Biden's justice that actually put this decision over the 5 vote threshold.

The people who disagreed with the ruling were/are actually very interesting for sure.

I understand the reasoning behind the majority that voteed against it, but to see the so called "trump judges" coming out in favour of the people and those affected was eye opening

Not every Supreme Court decision is politically based.  That's the confusion you are having...

Never suggested or said it was.  No insinuation was needed here.

Get ready for this thread to get busy.  The Supreme Court is doing their usual June end of session decision dump.  That means the Trump immunity decision is incoming at any time.  My guess is that it gets dumped on Friday (tomorrow), like most politically controversial news does.
