I just wanted the video of it and it's a pain in the butt just to isolate the video. I want to be careful about how much storage space I'm using on this server since I'm not the one footing the bill. So I just prefer to put links up instead of uploading videos themselves. You're correct about the office building though. I always thought it was technically part of the Capitol building, but it isn't. I know. It doesn't make me feel better about it though. Even those offices are supposed to be protected. I'm just thankful that they didn't decide to also smear feces on the walls like whichever animal did before in the same room that past great people have sat and legislated in. There are desks in there that were brought in from old Philadelphia that the forefathers sat at. I believe some even carved their names on them as well. Tell that to whoever made that tweet. I don't argue about that day because it was so effed up in so many ways and there is still too much being covered up about it. It's going to be some time until the full truth of that day comes out. I should have included that I wasn't excusing what they did. You would think that a building that houses offices for Congress members and committee rooms would be a bit more secure (that is the purpose of the Cannon Building). However, due to the fact that it is their offices and committee rooms, there is an element that it needs to be open to the public, and not closed off during regular business days. Unlike the Capital on Jan. 6th, which was a special session where the Capital is closed to the public. In both cases, there should have been way, way more security. That being said, these two incidents are not the same. Apples to oranges. Both fruit, but different.

Let me tell you what actually would have happened if Donald Trump had been POTUS...... He would have tried to broker a deal that had Ukraine ceding territory to Russia.....and Zelenskyy would have told him to fuck off..... Trump would have withheld military funding (again) and the rest of the International community would have jumped in to try and pick up the slack, especisally the other NATO countries. (It's even money as to whether Bone Spurs would have pulled the US out of NATO by this time) Russia would have invaded anyway...Trump and the MAGAts would have stood by and let it happen and there would be many more dead Ukrainian civilians and more live Russian soldiers.... 1

nuckin_futz
Hard to really tell what's going on right now. Word is there is a plan to make Shorty the interim Speaker if possible. Then that gets shot down. Story making the rounds that a Congressman lunged at Matt Gaetz. Gaetz said the guy was "animated" Rumours Gym Jordan is throwing his hat back in the ring.
