Haha, it's all good in the end. I respect the fact that you're willing to speak your mind and also willing to accept criticism. There's far too few people these days willing to do both. As you've probably seen, I'm also willing to speak my mind. lol

 

I just think it's easy to get wrapped up in the whole left vs right stuff so much that it makes it easy to become more extreme and start connecting dots that don't exist.

I don't expect Trudeau to be reelected. I also don't expect Trump to be elected in November.

 

I'm not looking at things from a "leftist" standpoint when I say these things. I'm looking at it more from looking at the pulse of each situation.

I think you'll be hard pressed to find someone actively supporting Trudeau on these boards. It's just a question of the alternative, basically in South Park's terms, we're choosing between the Douche and the Turd Sandwich.

Yeah. One of the things that happen when I have talked with "Trumpers" in the past is almost immediately they start talking about Trudeau. Like it's THE whataboutist thing to do for them.

And I just want to say, if there are youngsters reading this thread, please for the love of god, read a history book, watch some documentaries, or even visit the Nuremberg museum online, if you want to learn about WWII and the nazis rise to power. I have no idea what tf I just read but I assure you, it is not based in fact of any kind.

I do think the US election is up in the air. 1 thing is for sure no matter who wins the vote will be rigged lol. Either Russia interfered or Trump "got too many votes to lose" lol... Trudeau, I really don't think he even has a chance at all. Even the people that were so hung and dry over him years ago want him gone. I don't know a single person (personally) that would vote for him. There's more "Fuck Trudeau" flags around here than Canadian flags lol.

 

I know I may sound like I'm some Trump loving ass hole, but trust me I'm not. I have said many times I think the guy personally is a p.o.s... I just don't trust the other side at all, and if they're not lying to everyone like a lot of people think they're doing a very poor job convincing people like me who have shifted left to right over the last several years.

 

Only thing that SCARES me is the threat off WW3.. but all the lies and BS just adds to the reasons I'd want to see Trump in. All the other stuff is just your typical political BS. Lying, twisting of truths, etc.. But the dictator rhetoric about Trump is way too far for truth stretching and it already costed 2 men their lives. Trump says a lot of terrible stuff but are we just going to act like statements like...

Sure Trump says some nasty shit sometimes, but he doesnt pump out false rhetoric that could very likely lead too assassination attempts.. Especially when the person you're (they) pushing this rhetoric on is as hated as this man is by people that don't like him. It truly feels to me like they're low key trying to bait a Trump assassination.. Call me a conspiracy theorist or crazy, but if this was a movie it'd be bloody obvious what they were trying to do by pushing this rhetoric lol.. And that 1st assassination attempt looked more than just "suspicious"

I mean, we did just come from 2 old guys duking it out to 1 old guy duking it out with the vice president of another old guy.

 

The result is Harris has an uphill battle still because people are going to connect her with Biden. So when you say you don't trust that side, I get it.

 

I also get the frustration when it comes to what some leftist channels will say about Trump. There's a lot of youtube videos I see where the title's like "Oh we got him! He's done for!"... and then it's some much smaller thing: clickbait basically.

 

However, despite all of this. I'd much much rather see Trump lose this election, not because I like the democrats, but because I think the republicans need to rebuild. They need a wake up call. They're too far right at the moment and the only thing keeping them in contention right now are the extra voters they get just because its Trump.

 

But, like I said, I think that's going to happen. Think of it this way: 2020 showed that Biden can beat Trump. Biden's not popular but he still won. This means there are that many people in the states who hate Trump, and this was 2020. This was before he started crying spilled milk about the 2020 election. This was before Jan 6. This was before all of the court cases. This is before roe vs wade. Because of all of these events, there's objectively going to be more people now against Trump than there was in 2020 if we just look at recent events.

 

Even in the primaries, Trump was not exactly showing that republicans are all united with Trump. Instead, we're seeing the opposite. Meanwhile, Biden was getting 90%+ votes in the Democrat primaries.

 

And sure, there's 2016 when people were expecting Clinton to win; however, the fact that constantly gets brought up means that people are constantly getting reminded of it. This means that's likely to have the opposite effect and will likely make people get out and vote.

 

Now, obviously there's also the polling, but I've openly stated here that I believe polls are just for the media to get clicks with. Hopefully though, you see I'm not speaking of things out my butt.

Germany has been one of the greatest European countries since the 50s and they are aware of what happened.

The current vibe in Germany is that Islam will take control and nationalism is better than globalization. European Nations was created to combat globalism and now Socialism is mucking everything up.

Sure, but that still doesn't mean I'm about to ruin a good time if that kind of stuff doesn't get brought up. II don't care if it's here, in Germany, or wherever. There's a time and place for everything.
