And then the next stage is.... Facts don't even matter anymore. I have my own facts I saw on YouTube or Facebook. There is no easy solution that some on the far left think there is. But the Right takes the cake for its idiotic simplification of complex matters as an easy path to power. Lazy and mean as well. Picking on easy targets, and dehumanizing them. Creating fear about them. No shame in using disinformation to fool your constituents. Promoting division, hatred and suspicion of "the other". And no shame in using disinformation and lies to fool the most angry and gullible in society. Crapping on their own country and calling it a shithole, just so that candidate can proclaim that he alone can fix it. Tear it all down. Instead of seeing the best in the country, and its people, and look for ways to improve upon and build it up. Kamala Harris came along at the exact right time. Like opening a window that you never knew was there and letting in a breath of fresh air. She probably won't get done everything she promises, but she is at least trying.... to bring back the USA to something that i always admired them for as a Canadian.
