I highly recommend it, there's some real damning stuff. It's scary to find out your nominee is capable of such things but if you can get past the fear, i feel like it could be quite enlightening. Her first viral post was in June, 2021, with a kid trying to explain the idea of gender fluidity but she commented that it was messed up and gross. She decided to continue her online "career" with homophobia and transphobia. She called the LGBTQ youth suicide prevention group, The Trevor Project, a grooming organization and in 2022 she kept using the term "groomer" at an ever increasing rate. Most of her posts are mostly about trans people, specifically trans kids in schools. She played a big role in getting right-wing people and proudboys to show up and disrupt school board meetings. She calls for any teacher who comes out to their students to be "fired on the spot." She would often post pictures of gay teacher and accusing them of sexually assaulting students and leading targeted harassment campaigns against them. Oftentimes, she includes random news headlines about adults sexually abusing children in the videos but neglects to mention that most of the new articles are about straight adults abusing children (and even a cop in one of them). None of them are actually about gay people abusing children but she heavily implies that they all are LGBT. Highly recommend this overview. The issue isn't that people try to LEGALLY challenge election results in court. People from all political stripes do it all the time. Bush v Gore being a prime example. The issue also isn't people publicly questioning the results. That is a 1st Amendment thing in the US. Gore conceded after all legal challenges were exhausted. Shillary conceded. TRUMP hasn't and even when he sorta did he walked it back. The issue is the conspiracy to circumvent the transition of power from the party that lost to the party that did. I can see both of these people working together to pass legislation. Vance was trying to minimalize the extremes that the GOP have in their platform. Walz was doing a good job on the 'you can trust us' persona. What is clear with Vance is that American isolationism is selling well in the USA and that Trump will be succeeded by more GOP leadership in the future who will carry on that theme. Vance for POTUS in 2028? It will come down to trust in November. My take is that Harris/Walz will win that choice. Middle road GOP and Independants, while hurting economically, will not trust Trump. Walz made an excellent point when he named Republicans who had declared for Harris. If I were an American I would likely lean to the GOP but I could not support Trump as a stable influence in international affairs. I could not trust him with the future of Ukraine. Ukrainians are already dying because of lack of full support from Biden/Harris. But the bottom line is that Biden supported Ukraine when no one else did. Harris has recommitted to that support.
