I don’t hate it on paper.  Probably swap Roy and Myers, but it is a strong lineup.  Depends on which Kane you are getting though….That’s the risk management and coaching would need to make based on what they know and think of their ability to tame him.  Being back in your home town with old friends could be a disaster.  Have to have his picture up for security at the Whiterock Casino 🎰

I don't think he had issues in Edmonton and he's 33 now, I expect all that stuff is behind him.

If it's just Kane, then no.  But if they can use their cap space to get a good young players as well, then yes

Ok so 34-40 mil total.

We'd have to do something like 7 mil x 5 years, and buyout proof with max bonus money to get him.

That's assuming he wanted an 8 year term at 4-5 million. Maybe it was for 4 or 5 years?

I don't know if he's looking to play until he's 42, just my opinion though.

Id have faith in this coaching staff to handle him.

Again, not him in a deal alone.  Him and a sweetener

Doesn't matter the sweetener to me. Kane is a terrible idea. Multiple players have come forward over the last few months talking about how great the locker room is here in Vancouver. Why on earth would we risk that by bringing in one of the players with the most well documented history of causing riffs in locker rooms currently in the NHL.

Itd definitely matter to me.  I like Kane as a player and he brings a lot to the lineup.  I don't have a lot of concern about him, personally.  I think the strength of the dressing room and the strength of the coaching staff can absorb that.

Again, not likely and I'm just putting out  possibilities that might be unconventional.
