DrJockitch
Wow. LA really had enough of his crap quickly. Amazing they got out of that contract for nothing.

Popular Post Rusty Shackleford
Dear Capitals, Mikeyev is Ovi's bff and will get him to break Gretzky's record. Dear L.A Mikeyev is just as good as Iaffalo. You're both welcome. 4 1 1

Curmudgeon
In 2016, Vancouver was seeded third pick overall BEFORE the draft lottery dropped them two spots to fifth (and chose Juolevi) If they had retained their third position, they would absolutely have taken Dubois. To review, Dubois has worn out his welcome in Columbus, Winnipeg and now Los Angeles and he's only 25. Worse, he's due $8.5M AAV for another SEVEN seasons. What on earth is Brian McLellan thinking by acquiring a guy who has had problems fitting in everywhere? Washington is on the downside of Ovechkin's career and adding Dubois isn't going to improve them much at all.

Actually there was a deal in place to acquire Subban from Montreal if Dubois was there at our pick… Shows how lost Benning was. All his plans were just bad…

The way Dubois played the last few seasons they may still need one. Edited June 19 by canuck73_3 1 1

Diamonds
I don't know why LA keeps bringing in old goalies past their prime, but Kuemper should at least provide more consistent goaltending than Talbot did this past season.

Phil_314
The fact that no sweeteners were required or retention was involved... boggles the mind. Never thought I'd see the day that a trade was probably even worse than our trade to get OEL, but here we are folks.
