And how valuable is the extra millions at trade deadline, free agency when trying to build a contender? It's BS. It's not a level playing field. It's just multiplying salary by effective tax rate in the city the team is in. Pro sports contracts are considerered income earned where the game is played. Meaning Petey only pays BC tax on 50% of his contract (the 41 home games). Nevertheless JR/PA are killing it just now...
