Something that you have not done yet or been wanting to learn but maybe never had the time or just put it off...?

1. I'd love to learn how to weld, My dad was one by trade..I would love to build my own furniture and custom designs.

2. Learn how to swim..For safety reasons.

3.  Play acoustic/electric guitar , I do work in the sound field and have always been excited by that instrument but have never picked one up.

All easily attainable...Your turn..

Learn another language.

I watch the World Curling Championships and hear the Swiss team switching effortlessly between English, French, Italian and German and can't help feeling like a bit embarrassed by my facility with English only....

start watching NHL hockey in Punjabi or French.?

Some words would likely start making sense quickly..

Used to watch the Expos in french, back in the day. Same with the occasional hockey game, if the Habs were playing someone more interesting than the Leafs were on HNIC. Definitely picked up a few things, but not enough to hold down a conversation.

Funny thing is, my Mom went to school in Switzerland in her late teens/early 20s. When we were kids she used to yell at us in French and Italian. We all knew what "vite" and "andiamo" meant....

Re- learning some of the things I've let go, would be a good start.

I used to play trombone-so should be able to pick that up much quicker than learning  a different instrument.

I used to know some sign language- but use it or lose it applied here-- I've been thinking about doing part time work with special needs folk- so should target a gig with a non verbal group.

French- took it in grade 8 high school, but have let it slip. Shouldn't be too hard to get it back as French is heard and seen in many places in Canada.

I've been on a real chess kick over the last year or so----  need to start  playing people rather than bots and puzzles, plus going to tournaments.

Just learn all the swear words in every language and should be good to go!

Play an instrument and make music.

Be a pilot/learn to fly.

Becoming a translator/interpreter of multiple languages

Hanging out with a pornstar, in a platonic way. I'd really love to know who they are underneath the on-screen persona. Some seem like pretty nice, down to earth people, but many are from very troubled backgrounds. Of course, if we did something, I wouldn't turn them down. It also seems like many of them don't care about size as much as they pretend to on camera.

Me too. I have tried but find doing this in a classroom really difficult.

I’ve heard babbel is really good app for that. But I’ve always found travelling and having locals teach you a word here or there is the best method. I’d imagine If a person went to a foreign country for a month and immersed themselves in the culture it would be easier than we think.

I think travel would be it for me.

Great topic.

I’ve played classical piano all my life and play solo prog rock and blues pieces, but I am a note reader through and through. I always wanted to learn to improvise and play in a band.

I want to learn to swim a lot better.
I’m pushing 70, so times a wasting.
