To date there have been 89 player signings between Restricted and Unrestricted Free Agents. We have seen two Offer Sheets in the mix as well. Teuvo represents a key missing ingredient in our best forward lines. We steadied and balanced our Defense before moving to adjust and solidify our top nine, moves that all in all have moved us back into contention to make the playoffs, and posturing to do well in that all important opening round. I would like to thank Teuvo for wanting to come to to Seattle, a very similar climate and regional oceanside beauty comparable to his native Helsinki birth place back in Finland. We pulled out all the stops for Teuvo, reaching out to him in his native Finn as part of our campaign to woo him here for our mutual success. A 'summertime' team depth chart now would look like the following however our bottom six will be determined by some moves yet to be announced and of course training camp and the selection process. Since coming into the GM spot for the Seattle Kraken I have worked to add real depth and draft heft in the assets column, and made good on the plan to dip out of playoff contention last year, which secured us our draft target of Konsta Helenius! who will no doubt be with us in a few short years. Now the plan is back to playoff contention for this group of amazing athletes.
