I think at the point someone identifies themself as police you must stop what you are doing and comply. Be calm, know your rights, ask for ID...all that. It also highlights how we treat out politicians. I am not saying they should be above the law but the are at a high security risk. JT has to wear bullet proof vests, people have challenged him to fights, thrown crap at him etc... When approaching a top official, people should realise that the police will be very closely watching. Did the cop do a bit of a dick move? sure. Did the old guy act in a way that would have had him on the ground in my Granville street night club days...yup. The police officers should have put that guy on the ground. They were too lenient. No one, even a real reporter, should be able to be this aggressive with our elected officials. You can't deny what happened to her in Grande Prairie, or that it might have heightened the response for anyone designated to protect her. And as someone who's just over 2 years away from being an official senior citizen myself, the "reporter's" age is irrelevant. That is insanely laughable at best.
