They are doing a 10k yearly retention bonus as they cant find people and they dont pay very well to start. Growing wage disparity and shrinking middle class are MAJOR problems (ones that get worse under a Con government FWIW). We also need a crap tonne of public housing funded by both federal and provincial governments to make a dent in housing costs (and not let municipal governments, Nimby's and developers get in the way of them).
