S-210 from the con's is clearly not well thought out, either in application or potential consequences.

My preteen and all of his buddies had some off stuff drop in their snapchat. There's enough porn on the internet if you are looking for it. Clean it up so there's less unintentional access. Well here is a way...don't give your kid devices with access for an app that is straight up designed to exchange content that disappears. That is like blaming others when your kid orders drugs on signal or whatsapp... You know almost everything ive ever been sent on snap is a woman sending me nudes...like c'mon.. Would we tolerate someone fastening porn images to the side of your house, car or in regular mail as a flyer? On the side of a bus or Billboard? Do parents need to be aware of what their kids are doing online, certainly but if we are living in the metaverse there is no need for it to be more perverse than general society or the unsavory stuff is regulated like consciously going into a strip club or adult store. The internet is very much the wild west and whether people like it or not that will evolve.

Even if Canada locked down everything under its control, it's just a tiny squib of what your kid can access.

The people that like Pharmacare and Dental care will know that without the NDP pushing, the Libs wouldn't have done it. They will also likely realize that the Conservatives would never do it, and might actually try to kill Pharmacare and Dental care, if they get a majority. 1 3 1

I'm not sure why people would expect him to stop cooperating when he's getting productive legislation put through. As much as our local NDP MP sucks, I'd consider voting for them in the upcoming election as a result of this.
