Thanks. I found some stuff about it being a political thing but didnt dig too deep. The poster was happy to think I was ignorant to indigenous heritage, so I just wanted to re-confirm with him that it was a 'd' and not a 't' that the wise old Lorrie posted. It was obviously used in a derogatory manner. Nobody (except maybe for the person who posted the tweet) actually believes it was a reference to the Indigenous spelling Kanata.....
