Amplification: Chris Driedger is on Waivers from Carolina. a reminder to all GM's that Waivers placements must be made in a single post with the waiver notice as the only subject matter of the post. This is to limit the chances of burrying the notice in hopes that it is not seen. ALSO: waivers notices may not be edited as per Gators post the other day as it can lead to shenanigans. Gator Posted Wednesday at 12:47 AM Author Share Posted Wednesday at 12:47 AM RULE CHANGE PASSED With a total of 24 (of a possible 30) votes, 19 voters (79.16%) voted in favor of the rule change. CBA will be updated with rule change before the roster freeze is up. This now means you can trade a player with a NTC to any team. If you move them to a team thats on his list you will only be hit with a level 1 penalty. If the team is not on their list they'll be hit with a level 3 penalty. Players with a NMC can still only be moved to a team on their 3 team lists. However that will be changing to 5 team list when the next set of lists get released on January 1st. Penalties for moving a player with a NMC has increased from 2pts to 5pts. Rule 3.7 in the CBA is going to be scrapped. You can no longer request players waive their NMC at any time. We will allow for it before the TDL, but unless you're a bottom feeder in the standings and/or morale the chances a player will wave these clauses are not very high and will be handled on a case by case basis. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
