Because there is no room on your NHL roster he will be placed in your AHL system. He signed in Europe so I terminated the contract a number of pages back. I couldn't find that in the CBA, but it seems like lots of people were doing it. If that's not a thing, then yeah AHL. Probably the thing I was happiest about my fantasy draft was the succession plans I built into my cap structure. Took Johnston and Quinn early on ELCs, which saved enough cap space that I could take a couple players who fell due to bigger contracts people were shy about in Tavares, Burns, Palmieri. And then those contracts expire next summer at same time Johnston and Quinn will need new deals.
