EDIT: Showed 0 offers on Hartman on the agent sheet so not sure what happened They won't all necessarily go to phase 3. If there's no real tough decision to be made it will likely be done at the end of phase 2. As for the color code on the sheet thats my bad. I did announce the players were heading to phase 2, but didn't update the spreadsheet. Caught me slacking a bit .. That's me rushing things trying to get them done before the freeze lol

Optimist Prime
Yeah, no one should sleep on ufa's even if not at stage 2 or 3 or even 1, if an offer comes in where FA has been open for 18 days already, some offers are good enough that a player may just sign it on the spot. Phases are the norm but not a hard rule. I think that needed clarification. The idea, year over year is to make your pitches earlybin July, players in demand will almost always go to phase three trying to capitalize on their popularity for the biggest bestest deal, but a guy on day 12 may just sign the good deal that is the first to come in if it is a good deal for him, to expand on the concept for better understanding. In the real NHL star players aren't waiting to hear from a GM on the 19th of July, they signed minutes after July 1st noon., so no one should be saying on July 19th they didn't have a chance to make an offer on a guy. Same goes for September 16th, in my opinion.

Or your offer is accepted quickly for a lower end guy like my TB signings of many players...Newbie antzy pants making loads of mistakes im sure. But I got no clue how fantasy works im building a team i Like on paper haha. All in good fun, look forward to seeing how this upcoming season goes both for the Canucks and GFL! 1 1

MatchesMalone
The Senators' roster is basically set (albeit a little thin around the edges) for next season: Jason Robertson - John Tavares - J.T. Compher Brandon Hagel - Joel Eriksson Ek - Kyle Palmieri Jack Quinn - Wyatt Johnston - Ryan Hartman Liam O'Brien - Mackenzie Entwistle - Jaret Anderson-Dolan Gustav Forsling - Brent Burns J.J. Moser - Shayne Gostisbehere Mattias Samuelsson - Logan Stanley Jeremy Swayman Alex Lyons We'll likely be rolling with 18 skaters this year. Mackie Samoskevich and Shakir Mukhamadullin will be available to fill in for injuries, but we've portioned out our cap for 18 skaters and 2 goalies. If anyone would like to help relieve our cap strictures, and also pay a relatively moderate return, get in touch about Tavares, Burns, Palmieri. Not gonna lie, that interim GM didn't do much for this team, but considering the cap constraints that Alex Lyon add at 900k was absolutely clutch. Popular Post MeanSeanBean
Minnesota Wild press release The Minnesota Wild are thrilled to announce the new captain of the Wild, Elias Pettersson. First we would like to thank Mitchell Marner for his tireless months of dedication and restless commitment before the trade last year. We are extraordinary lucky here in Minnesota that both our assistant captains have the leadership qualities that could easily make them a captain on other NHL teams. Dylan Larkin stepped up in a big way after Marner was traded to fill the leadership void, while Jared Spurgeon was a staple in the dressing room even being injured through the majority of the year. While either of these players could have taken the step forward in their career at this time, we have decided to elevate a newer acquisition to the team. After joining the franchise, Elias player did everything and more to cement himself as one of the most important young players in the entire league. It's not easy to follow legends in our league such as Minnesota's former captains Mikko Koivu and Jared Spurgeon, but we are confident this young man was the right choice to lead the Wild as this teams 3rd captain in franchise history. here is a quote from GM Meanseanbean “We’re thrilled, this is a significant milestone here for the team and change in leadership and identity of the team. This is not just a reflection on Elias’ exceptional talent, it’s a reflection of him off the ice and his leadership qualities.” AGM Definitelyacanucksfan has this to say, “You know you’ve made a great decision with how excited the guys are because it could have easily been one of them, and Petey knows that. I was impressed when I came in with Pettersson and his love of the game and how he mixes with everybody." “He’ll say uncomfortable things that have to be said and he’s not afraid to say something to us — that was important. He has all the qualities and is still learning, which is great, because he’s going to need support from all of us.” Pettersson had this to say about becoming the 3rd captain in franchise history, “This means a great deal to me — especially in Minnesota,” said Pettersson. “I know how important hockey is to the city, and to be the captain is an incredible honour and something I never even dreamed of. I’m never going to be the loudest guy in the room, but a guy who can be a leader through work ethic. And as time goes by, I’ll learn more about myself. “I feel really confident with the management here and coaching staff. And having Larky, Sprug and Mo here with me, means more than they could know. I’m going to keep learning. This is just the beginning for me. I’m hoping to be a great leader and I think I will be. The future is bright here in Minnesota, things are about to get... MeanSeanBean
@Gator I know we're on freeze, just pointing out so it's fixed before season and while I noticed it, the penalties Minny got on the first page sounded like they were not going to counted since they both were not UFA players. Lethunder
Rumour out of Vegas is Morgan Rielly might be looking for a new home with more room on a too pairing. If you're a playoff team or a team on the upswing and you're looking for a top pairing dman get in touch! We no longer require a top 4 dman in return, so we can focus on picks/prospects/youngsters at F or D
