Rumors out of Pittsburgh are saying GM HKSR may be considering a complete tear down and rebuild. With extremely valuable assets such as Rantanen, Verhaeghe, Crosby, and Josi on the team, it sounds like the Penguins are listening with the expectation that top tier AAA grade prospects would be the return necessary to pry these talents away from the franchise.

TBL rookie GM clearly has no idea how to build ya fantasy team… bottom 3 in the entire league haha, ouch!!!

I wasn't a rookie, but shortly after I drafted Draisatl I traded him away for an aging star. No Regerts. 👎 hahaha

Over the next decade your team will be awesome. Just some post "loaded up to win, ended up runner up" blues for the gm who has to clean up the All In mess.

Your franchise was a millimeter from a cup win in the inaugural year, the fans will remember that.

I jumped over three teams in my division last night, its early. ...

.... but damn it is nice to see when the "pillars" of mine all chip in points. It was risky to take a bunch of guys with clauses locked up till 2030, but at least so far it is paying off.

ELC SLIDE DESIGNATION: The Dallas Stars would like to slide D Jakub Dvorak, age 19, (May 25, 2005), using the 1st of our two slide opportunities. Despite his ppg pace in the AHL, we will let him season another year.

ELC SLIDE DESIGNATION: The Dallas Stars would like to slide RW Felix Unger Sorum, age 19, (Sep 14, 2005), using the 2nd of our two slide opportunities. Felix had a good camp, however we will not have a situation to use his talents this season on the main club.

Quote

3.12 ELC Slides

If a player on their ELC is 18 or 19 as of September 15th, they are eligible for the ELC slide, as long as they have 9 or less games of NHL experience, and you have the money invested into your player development department (see section 6.3). If you choose to slide their contract, they will not be eligible to be called up for the remainder of the season.

To process an ELC slide request, simply make a post in the thread letting the league know you will be sliding the contract.

Quote

6.3 Player Development

Money invested in this department will allow you to utilize the ELC slide. For further information on how to use an ELC slide see section 3.11. How much you invest will determine how many ELC Slides you can use for the season.

$10m - 1 ELC Slide

$20m - 2 ELC Slides

$30m - 3 ELC Slides

$40m - 4 ELC Slides

$50m - 5 ELC Slides

Quote

Player Relations $40,000,000
Player Development $20,000,000
Medical/Training $0
Minors Budget $40,000,000
Scouting Department $0

I believe the rule allows for up to nine NHL games before deciding, however neither of these players will see NHL action this year.

Assignment: The Dallas Stars assign Nico Sturm to the Minor League Texas Stars. Nico cleared waivers on Sept 22nd and is waiver ineligible for 30 days hence.

*earlier i confused Sundqvist for Sturm, fixed now with sunny on waivers and sturm assigned. This is to clear room for a pending roster move.

Recall: the Dallas Stars recall Nico Sturm from the minor league affiliate Texas Stars. Waited exactly the required 72 hours. (didn't win the waived guy i was after, never count your chickens before they hatch)
