They were all charged in January this year. They were all put on paid leave by the NHL and so they all got paid until June 30. All 4 players playing in the NHL were either RFA or UFA as of July 1. None of them were re-signed so all are UFA’s right now. I think the reason why the league didn’t suspend them is because all of their contracts were expiring anyways so no point in having their lawyers come at the league with potential lawsuits. Now the teams can just legally blackball them until the trial is over. Dillon Dube has officially signed a contract in the KHL. The others could follow him. Apparently due to a court order the 5 Predators (Not of Nashville decent) are forbidden from playing on the same team as each other. I guess the judge was concerned of future hotel room meet-ups.. Those Russian chicks don't play around though, a lot of them carry vodka bottles and switchblades.. Either way.. The Russian team choice Dube.
