Almost as bad as the Ferland signing

Ferland could've been very productive here..  he just had shit for brains! Which I suppose probably has a lot to do with all his concussions.. but he was finally starting to produce offensively in his career. He hit like a truck, created good space for himself.. He didn't need to fight all the time.. Absolute shit for brains..

The guy suffers a concussion in a fight vs Kyle Clifford in LA first month of the season.. He sits for 3+ months only to come back in the bubble vs Minnesota & immediately drops the gloves and fights Marcus Foligno suffers his final and career ending concussion.

It didn't need to end like that.

How did they not know about it? I mean, me not knowing is one thing. I am a random idiot on the internet. Lol. But they should have pieces in place to figure these things out before hand. Especially when it comes to million dollar contracts.

Sucks to hear for Jani.

Really liked his game and seeing how he basically came out of nowhere with St Louis and Anaheim and making a name for himself with Dallas. I hope he can heal up well. Most importantly hope he lives a healthy life.

If he has a degenerative knee condition and it's bone on bone I don't see how he can ever play again.  He will be in pain for the rest of his career.  Guys that have this condition usually need a knee replacement at some point.  I believe several NFL players had knee replacements.  Who the fook is the doctor for the Maple Leafs?

So Toronto's doctors are THAT much better than Dallas's? Just because you're a Maple leafs doctor dosen't make you God.

Those doctors did a fine job assessing Klingberg last year.
