Popular Post Nail Posted May 14 Author Popular Post Share Posted May 14 A few administrative notes: Forward positions have been updated on the spreadsheet, all positions have been taken / referenced from EliteProspects. Waiver eligibility / games exemption has also been updated following the conclusion of this years regular season. The updated note on each player (which shows how many games a player has left of eligibility) is taking into account the players age as of October 1st, 2024. For the teams who own players that were involved on the 2018 Canadian World Junior team, these players will be placed in your minors with no caphit penalty if they are under contract for next year. If a player is a pending free agent, you will be given the option to infinitely retain their rights until a verdict has been made, or you may release their rights completely. The following amendment has been made to the Injured Reserve section of our CBA, if anyone has any questions/concerns let me know. Gives teams more roster and cap flexibility if one of their players is getting the help they need: "Teams will also be able to place players that are in the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program on their Injured Reserve." I have updated the salary cap on the sheets to $87.700M, which is the projected NHL amount for next year. If you are looking for your pending free agents previous caphits, they can be found on the Pending Free Agent Spreadsheet. If you are looking for your 2024 draft picks, they can be found on the 2024 Entry Draft Spreadsheet. Al though we didn't get our #1 target in our trade-up attempts. I feel we achieved some good work here with selecting Helenius. He is a consummate professional at the bright young age of 17. The details in his game are phenomenal and he appears to have some high hockey iQ. We are optimistic he will become a valuable addition to our group in the coming years. He probably has the details to challenge for a job next season but another year of dominating the Lilga or AHL might not hurt. We now have 2 Helenius boys Samuel and now Konsta. (They are note related but a cool bit of info!) Best of luck to Pinto in Chicago! I know he is probably going to be a stud for them for many years.
