We believe it's a perfect fit for us both short and long-term. Short-term he's a guy we think could have a realistic chance to play playoff games for us this year. Longer term we'd like to re-sign him to back up Bobrovsky for the next couple years before potentially taking over the starting role. awalk
Colorado wishes Jordan Greenway all the best in his future endeavors, and hope he enjoyed the ride to the airport. Cataford is a very talented player, and we won't be surprised if he is an NHL regular at some point. We wish him well. Very happy to add both Blake Colman and Ilya Lyubushkin to our group. We'll take the risk of giving up our 1st if Coleman finds his way to the playoffs. When we took over, this roster had an excellent top end, a lack of depth, and a lot of draft capital. We have spent most of that draft capital, largely because we don't have a scouting department, but also because we've got guys like Pastrnak, Draisatl, and Reinhart and it would be a shame not to go all in. We're fairly pleased with how we've been able to round out the line up while also clearing up some cap space for next season. Still looking to upgrade goaltending and maybe move a few more guys out, but happy to go into playoffs as is. Theo5789
As we are inching closer to the TDL, the Vancouver Canucks are in an uncertain position to make the playoffs as the Pacific/West is becoming too strong to gain any ground. We will start exploring moving playoff pieces. We will listen to offers on the following: Jonathan Drouin Zach Parise Brock Nelson Cam Atkinson Vladislav Namestnikov Andrew Copp Nils Aman Joel Kiviranta Hudson Fasching Sean Walker Neal Pionk Jeff Petry Sebastian Aho Simon Benoit Antti Raanta Very unlikely to move Jason Robertson, Aleksander Barkov and Juuse Saros, but if anyone wants to throw out an intriguing offer, I'd listen.
