I believe the Canucks still retain the rights to Kravtsov until the end of next KHL season. His numbers in the KHL don’t jump off the page, but aren’t bad. I do remember the short stint with the Canucks as being pretty average but he was a great skater and you could see some talent. Unfortunately he chose to return to Russia. Anyone have any recent reviews on his KHL performance and whether a return to the NHL would be a possibility?

Not to sound snarky but he's not very good. In fact, New York isn't known for developing high end talent with their high end picks. When he came over here, I felt like he had Russians to help his game, but it's not very impressive as you can see above. He might just one of those players whose game does not translate well to the NHL.

He didn't seem like he cared enough to stick in the NHL when he was here. He'd likely rather coast in an easier league, still making a solid salary.

What really jumps out to me is how few games he has been playing over the last few years. The past season in the KHL was the most games played (55) in a season. It seems to me that this may be a player who could benefit from having a consistent amount of ice. This upcoming season for Traktor hopefully will provide this. Who knows an actual player may still be there.

Worth noting that they don't play 82 games seasons in the KHL. The most any player played on Chelyabinsk last year was 67 games.

The dude has played 60 games and has less than 20 points in the NHL. He's not that good.
